DCL, Holgate and Davies

Davies > Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson

Holgate > Keane

DCL > Kean, Niasse, Tosun and Richarlison (Richy is obviously the better player but as a lone CF DCL is better)

Just keep them in the team and stop wasting time with older players who's time is soon to be up here.

He started well behind and got past but just outstrengthed/ran out of pitch.

At no point did he leave the defender 'trailing in his wake' tho in that instance.

A better of example of his pace from the Brighton game was when he went through 1 on 1 from the halfway line, no way anyone was catching him there

I'd say tight race between him, Bernard and Rich for fastest in the team.

So Holgate and DCL have kicked on, Davies has been good just needs consistency, Bernard is class, Richarlison is different gravy, we have the England keeper, Digne is a class full back.

Errrr, the last I looked we are a pathetic 11th in the prem with 28 points from 22 games. Out of the 2 cups and this team participated in possibly the most humiliating defeat for the club in decades last Sunday.

Hope springs eternal but its hard to rationalise reality and what people actually think.

We are where we are mate and although I'm not happy with some of our recent performances I am pleased at the progress that our young first teamers are showing. Some of the older heads should take a look at players like Holgate when they wonder what it is that the fans require from them.

Our league position is disappointing to say the least but I feel more optimistic now than I have since Moyes left.
I rate all of the players you mention bar Pickford and we all know that we need a massive re-building job, so you will have to forgive me for snatching a little bit of optimism from our youngsters that are starting to show a bit of promise.

I know Ancelotti is probably the best manager we could have hoped to get here but even with him at the helm becoming champions of Europe may take more than one season. ;)

It’s not that I’m not a fan of him I’d just rather we bought someone more dynamic. He’s never been the best attacker and it’s such an important position these days for the attack.
He appears to be doing OK in Germany from an attacking sense. He may not be dynamic in that sense, but his end result is a lot better than we are used to from that position.

He didnt tho...he knocked it past him and then never managed to get round him...ended up giving away a free kick.

(I agree he's fast but lets not make stuff up!)
leading goal scorer and he cost us buttons compared to the other old waste of spaces we have in the squad thanks to mismanagement and DOFs

I rate him. Wasn't having a go at all.

Just stating that in the instance that the OP referenced he actually didn't do the defender for pace, thats all i was saying
