Not that bothered about losing Weir, he's only been coaching at the club for 5 minutes so no big loss.

Martinez met the coaches today I think. Maybe he didn't offer Weir a role and the Evetonian he was keen on bringing into his team is Stubbs?

Oh sh1te so no one will teach Martinez and his team how to defend then. I do hope Weir and Stubbs stay.

Id like to see Weir go into managment and see how he gets on, when he was linked with the managers job people said he had no experience so a good way to start his coaches education.

Im sure if he does get the job he will be interetsed in the likes of Stones, Garbutt, McAleny and Velios and giving them some valuable game time.

We went down to breakfast, and seen him in his everton tracky. Meself and the lads said hello and asked him afew questions, Barkley etc. he just replied "**** off" turned round and got in the lift. One of the lads wanted o fill him in. No time for him at all

Martinez wants them all to stay, said himself its pretty much up to them if they want to stay, but you cant get in the way of Weir if he gets offered a proper managerial role.

If he wants to be a manager then he needs to leave and look for a manager job in the lower league, good luck to him.

A good job for him that one, a big club who've massively under performed in recent years, they've been playing awful football to boot, so he's going in at the right time imo. Good luck Davie.

It is a gamble for him though. You sink in that league and you can kiss goodbye to any chance of getting a crack at a PL outift.

True this but I will respect him more for getting stuck in at a lower level rather than being spoonfed a top job through the old boys network.
If he does well I owuld love to see him back at Goodison

Surprised Davie Unsworth didn't throw his hat in.

I know a few Shef Utd fans who wouldn't have minded that.
