David Unsworth appreciation thread

Unsworth loves the club, has developed youngsters are clearly improved others who where considered surplus to requirement. He speaks well and has a solid grounding and team ethic drilled into his players.

There is no certainty that him taking over the 1st team would go well, but on the flip side he would be 101% committed to making it work.

Someone once gave Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and countless other now household names a chance to prove themselves.

If David was ever given the job I would happily give him my full support.
For all the players who say they are Evertonians (Rooney, Barkley, Stubbs, Jeffers...), Unsworth wholeheartedly is.

Unsworth is doing a great job and needs to stay exactly where he is, we give him another role and we have to replace him and have no assurance he would be a success at a higher level

Pretty sure he wants to be 1st team manager at some stage, whether he has to move somewhere else first is gonna be up to moshiri

does anybody, among this festival of 'my isn't the grass on THAT mountain green'-ery, have even a hint of evidence to suggest that Unsworth wants to be our first team manager?

I'd like to see Unsy got some experience managing some clubs in the football league, before giving him the job managing the Everton first team.If he does well with a championship or league one side then he might be worth a punt. He's well able to fight his corner on the sideline though. He was heard saying shut up just shut up to the manager of the Arsenal u23's on the sideline the other night.lol
