David Unsworth appreciation thread

My point remains that it is the quality and experience of a putative manager that is paramount not the teams he has played for previously.Unsworth seriously lacks experience and consequently would be a massive and disappointing gamble with the future of our club.

A gamble worth taking? What is the alternative? Another "career" manager like Koeman, looking at the short term and not concerned about any mess he may leave behind?
 
Yup, very well ran and organised academy with good players coming through quite often and new prospective players being brought in at early ages.

Yup, these lads also won the u18s league a couple years previous were they beat man city in the play off final. Jones, Connolly, Davies, Walsh, Williams, Duffus, Charsley, Dowell all involved. With the likes of Kenny already in the u21s at the time
If it tells us one thing though, along with international recognition, the dallas cup etc. This group are serial winners,
