2025/26 David Moyes

He's inconsistent in that respect whereas Ive yet to see him have a bad game at RB.

It's all abut decisions and the manger is making the wrong one again by keeping O'Brien at RB when he should be CB and Garner shifted to his position.

Stevie Wonder gets that decision right.

All day Dave the whole team looks disjointed with Jake at right back, why change it ? It means we have no right side of the team and no pace at centre back.

Moves is just not ambitious. Dull uninspiring football. Long ball tactics. Pretty much never beats a 'top' team. I know we did beat Forest but Forest outplayed us. Lots of passing football and crosses. Did we defend well or would a better team have put three past us? We always put caution before style. Bottom six by season end anyone?
HT 0 - 1 Brentford.
Do you think you are in the Dyche thread?
What do you think as of right now and today's result? It has become boring trying to convince others on this thread that Moyes is not and never will be, or indeed has ever been the man for Everton.

🎵Oh what a difference a day makes🎵

Journos are ‘kin useless.
Not one question about his thinking on changing a defence that kept a clean sheet the other day….

Rightly heaps praise on a team getting a convincing and professional away win……..breaks up said team a few days later. It’s as simple a mistake as that for me. Only a couple of players, but it changes so much of the team dynamics. And also sends a weird message to the players that come in and give everything.

If he’d have gone same again after a great win and we’d been beaten by the better team, I would hope most people wouldn’t wet the bed, it’s a perfectly sensible approach to send the same lads out again plus Jack.

Would have thought he would have enough experience to thank McNeil for the great assist, and swap him straight back out for Grealish. Dwight is a one trick donkey, but that trick only appears once a year at best. There is literally nothing else there.

We should NEVER be outfought and outrun at home. Garbage.
To be 3-0 down to Brentford at home in less than 60mins is totally unacceptable even in our darkest days.

There was a formula sumbled on for the Forest game that worked very well like no Keane , Tarks & JOB were excellant.
Dibling played his best game for us could be he had an actual Right back helping him out.
Moyes just cant help himself , he shoehorns McNeil & Keane in any chance he gets .

For all they plaudits he gets he looked totally out of his depth today.
They passed us off the field , looked fitter & stronger everywhere.

His solution
Make dreadful HT substitutions and Hoof it.
Again , this is agst Brentford🤷

So annoyed with him today…. Don’t see why we reverted back to type with JOB right back.

Such a poor lazy decision and one which clearly isn’t working for us this season

….i can see exactly why reverted to the back four that has served us so well this season, i had no problem with that but i thought he was tactically out-smarted today. Overran by a team well set-up, more savy than us even down to time wasting, going down with injuries etc.

Our weaknesses were exposed, he hasn’t got many options and I think he tried to match them but it didn’t work. I’d be more inclined to wonder how Mykolenko stays on the pitch when we’re chasing goals because so much attacking play stops when he gets possession.

Bad day at the office for Moyes.

That specific back 4 with O Brien at right back has consistently been poor all year. 3 comprehensive home defeats now trying it.

The structure of the team is an absolute mess with no right full back helping the wide player. This team needs full backs urgently but no one at the club seems to know it.
