There's a perverse part of me that wants to see this. As long as O'Brien is right back and we have an absolutely massive back fourAnybody else get the feeling he’s going to put Branthwaite left back?

We should never have JOB as right back. It limits us so much.….i can see exactly why reverted to the back four that has served us so well this season, i had no problem with that but i thought he was tactically out-smarted today. Overran by a team well set-up, more savy than us even down to time wasting, going down with injuries etc.
Our weaknesses were exposed, he hasn’t got many options and I think he tried to match them but it didn’t work. I’d be more inclined to wonder how Mykolenko stays on the pitch when we’re chasing goals because so much attacking play stops when he gets possession.
Bad day at the office for Moyes.
Don't think Moyes will be here next year when brantwhaite is available.Anybody else get the feeling he’s going to put Branthwaite left back?
They were very lucky to keep a clean sheet as they were pretty poor in terms of not giving away good chances. Maybe Moyes felt that luck wouldn't last.Journos are ‘kin useless.
Not one question about his thinking on changing a defence that kept a clean sheet the other day….
We are still one win off of 5th....so, bit early to call yet.
They could have asked for his explanation still. They were very lucky to keep a clean sheet as they were pretty poor in terms of not giving away good chances. Maybe Moyes felt that luck wouldn't last.
Doesn't mean changing it was the correct decision but it was an understandable one.
Agree with that about doing the basics and asking - edited my response but not quickly enough. They could have asked for his explanation still.
Maybe they don’t want Patto picking up an injury if they have a buyer lined up![]()

Tomorrow, today he deserves to be called out for doing a crap job and making some big mistakes. There’s too much anti Moyes rhetoric in here tonight, where’s the pro Moyes brigade to even things up. We need balance restoring to the force via ppg projections etc.
He can’t afford to lose either of the next twoHe’s risk averse so today’s so was surprised to see him throw the dice at half time. Only worry would be that curtails any risk for the next few games.
Premier league experience…I think seniority is the biggest farce in sports. Too often managers will avoid putting the best team out because they don't want to hurt feelings. Keane isn't the problem. Doucore wasn't the problem. It's the managers that keep starting them even when it is clearly not in the best interest of the squad. They would make great rotational players but you can't even have them in the squad because the manager will fall in love with their personality and insert them into the eleven weekly.
It would matter less if Mykolenko on the other side had a great understanding with Grealish and they marauded together on the left, but they dont. All day Dave the whole team looks disjointed with Jake at right back, why change it ? It means we have no right side of the team and no pace at centre back.
