2025/26 David Moyes

Brilliant post, I'd no idea he spanked £400m at Hammers.

Get this busted flush out of EFC. V1 Moyes did a good job at EFC in very different times.

He has nothing to offer clubs seeking more than survival and West Ham might question the cost at which that was sustained.
That is literally what we were seeking. And he saved us from relegation last season and ensured we had not a single worry of relegation at any point whatsoever this season, which is the first time that’s been the case in like 6 years or something.

yeah, we would have liked a better end to the season, but just having a season with not one single thought of relegation is progress and many would have been happy to have at the start of the season. A season with no worry and a bit of stability

What's the point of Kinnear if Moist is the defacto leader and has final say over signings and the direction of the club?. If Kinnear has a vision of where he wants this club to go he needs to grow a pair.

Bournemouth, Sunderland, Brighton, Brentford, all finishing where they "should be". Same with Tottenham.

Just saying.

Because the club has no ambitions, we plod along. No one does anything because no one cares (inside the club). Apathy, sentimentality, and mediocrity is rife at the club. We see it on the pitch. Stale management. Sorry David, your time is done.

But we won't get rid of you yet. We're nice like that.

I agree, mate. It's an attitude and a culture that has to change if the club are ever to succeed again. I'm just worried that these owners will happily just have us safe and steady and milk the Premier League and new stadium revenue for all it's worth.

I suppose in West Ham's case he appears to have been proven right unfortunately for them.

The rot had set in for him at West Ham. Conceded 75 league goals in last season, Rice had left, poor recruitment, bad football. Trajectory continued with what replaced him.

Did win the Conference year before but were down the bottom with us most of that season.

Are they completely oblivious to the fans concerns about Moyes continuing to be our manager or do they just not care? It doesn't seem to be just on here that there are fans not wanting him in charge.

They need to back him publicly or say thank you but we're going in a different direction.

It feels awfully quiet from the club, probably waiting for the anger to die down before confirming he's staying on.

He's under contract. But he's in his last year next season so really they need to back him or sack him and nobody wants him on a new contract.

Have you really been thinking about relegation for the last 6 years?

Haven't we finished closer to the relegated teams this year than last year?
