We've supposedly overhauled the squad but have played fewer players than last year and ended up exactly where we started. I'm not sure the +1 point total is the flex you think it is if we still finish 13th.

What I don't understand is that if we have a transfer committee system, and that is the long term model, why a manager who refuses to use the players signed by that committee is seemingly safe in his role. Will we sign a bunch more players that the manager won't play? It seems completely disfunctional to me and either the committee needs to go or Moyes does. My vote is for Moyes to go. Sadly, I think we are stuck with both and will end up equally disfunctional again next season.

None of this reflects well on Moyes. None of it reflects well on TFG. It's the usual farce.
 
Good god his if Iraola goes to Palace. Listen before people say anything, yes an FA cup last season and a potential European trophy in a few days plus good recruitment and sales. However it’s a friggin open goal. Crystal Palace ain’t Everton. Everything about Moyes now is tired and uninspired. Move and be better with a younger Emery type Basque region manager. With all their innovation and tactics. No brainer but there’s no one willing to make it happen. It’s so depressing

And what happens this time next year, do you than give him another year because of risk of relegation.

We replaced about 11 players that left, with 9. Maybe we improved on quality but not numbers.

I agree with pretty much everything else you've said.

A lot of those 11 were either very poor players, very old players or never played. I accept the rebuild is incomplete but I have no faith in Moyes to complete it and I'm starting to suspect that TFGs boys aren't either.
