2025/26 David Moyes

Allegri said he was stubborn and didn’t seem to rate his tactical awareness. He’s obviously a guy with some qualities but he doesn’t seem to be a clever enough player. Nowadays players need great positional discipline and the ability to make the right passes at the right times.

He’s 23 and has never been capped by his country and only has a couple of youth caps. I don’t see this great talent you seem to see.

What I have seen is a guy who fails to engage in a press at key times and who is prone to making hospital passes.
Allegri was sticky with Rabiot. Was Giuntoli who want him. Didn't you know?

Ha ha. The same people who bark that every time are the same ones who state we can't compete with, checks notes, Bournemouth(!) because of how much money they have spent. They have averaged a £24m net spend a year over a five year period. Which apparently isn't peanuts. Weird, huh?
disingenuous.

Evanilson £40m

Because they've flogged some players to the rs and chelsea (iirc) that net spend has been massaged.

So our end of season collapse may end up costing us £15 / £20m in league revenue, which will have a massive impact on our spending power this summer. Got to be some accountability for that

Good listen this

2 well informed and level headed blues discussing much of the same issues that are being debated on here atm

I've listened the last few weeks and they're good.

One thing I picked up on was them saying we'd missed Gueye the last few weeks and that Iroegbunam hasn't quite done enough in that role. A lot of fans are disappointed we haven't given the squad players more time on the pitch, but how much would people be willing to give them if they aren't as good what they replaced? For example, if you benched Ndiaye and Dibling came in and looked really poor I can't see many people wanting to persist with that.

We’d question the recruitment then - rightly so - and the man who had the final say.

Whatever way you slice it, Moyes is accountable.

Moyes signing off on these players and not playing them is really poor. I guess I'm just not of the opinion we should place much faith in them being the answer to our problems next season.

If so, why would you have faith in the man who signed off on them? I certainly don’t - nor Kinnear and his cronies.
