So I think the squad selection even fails on the “seeing if squad players are up for it and sod the cup” - he’s made it much harder for them to shine than just 2-3 changes would have.

I think those of us hoping he'd grown as a manager and had a new outlook are the ones who have been particularly slapped out of our naivety by last night.

He's never been a perfect manager. The truth is he comes with the David Moyes downsides now as much as ever.

Aznou and alcaraz for me no idea why was taken off Tim Iroegbunam just have not seen anything to make me think should be in the team. Then well aznou whatother game is the lad meant to get a chance in, you have 3 cb in the back 4. So should have started imo or atleast been used as a sub.

My point is that the tone of his comments last night suggest he didn't get what that pointless defeat meant to us - and that there's no reason to suggest he'll have been made aware of it since.

He needs to be out of here in the summer. Done a very good job up to this week - but was never the man for the future once the club had been stabilised. The first half hour at Anfield and last night's fiasco have reconfirmed his old failings.

Wolves picked a weakened team. Grealish and others didn't really set the world alight when they came on. We conceded when they came on. Teams have found us out so we need to vary it up. I said it before the game and I still believe it after the game.

It is a disservice that Coleman is afforded a shirt at this point in his career. He should have retired 3 years ago. We aren't even going after FA's or looking at youth options. We are being as lazy as humanly possible banking on Coleman's "legacy." As if the fans are that stupid to think this is acceptable. Enough is enough. Grealish`s impact wasn`t great last night because most of the time he spent picking himself up off the turf after getting brought down by a Wolves player. Agree completely about Coleman.
