2025/26 David Moyes

Well all of a sudden this divvy has left himself going into a game against a rampant Manchester City that he absolutely must win.

Bournemouth and Chelsea are winning next week, and we are getting demolished at home against City. That will leave us 5 points behind Bournemouth, 4 behind Chelsea and Brighton, currently 3 points ahead, have a very winnable have away to Newcastle.

That puts 6th, 7th and 8th out of our reach with 3 games left.

What a kin idiot. From his bumbling, abject failure of a summer transfer window to sheer refusal to use his squad throughout the season.

Truffert was there for the taking at less than we paid for Mykolenko years ago. I dread to think of the other players he turned his nose up to.

Any manager who deems Dwight McNeil good enough to start three-quarters of a season is himself not good enough for a football club attempting to get into European competition.

Europe was there for the taking and he's seen us turned over and embarrassed multiple times at home and completely drop off right at the end when our competitors are on a roll.

So much for the David Moyes never-say-die, always giving 100% for the fans and being exceptionally well-drilled and tactically aware at set pieces squad mantra.

Get rid, sick of him, his face, attitude, comments, smugness.

Truffert & Wesley both in talks with Thelwell Jan 2025.

Moyes manages to oust Thelwell summer 2025.

Sliding doors moments.

1: Iraola would have developed the younger players. If we were using and improving our new crop each game then people wouldnt care if we were 13th again. Its all about seeing improvement.

2: This is nothing like final season Moyes at West Ham. He was losing games 3, 4 and 5 nil while playing this rubbish football after signing rubbish players in the main.

Today we are at the stage where we allow him to spend £100mil on players with no resale upside.

Or we bring in a new manager to coach the £150mil worth of players we signed and add £100mil more to it. Then really build something exciting.
Oh for some new ideas ,a plan B that isn't swap the forward or take Jake off .Oh for someone who thinks we can win this game instead of hoping not to lose .
On paper -don't concede and try to pinch a goal is almost perfect - in practice it isn't . Who plays players where the whole world is laughing at us and never gives fringe players a chance .

Fine, but next season the new manager gets Europe or he's failed.
Not if he’s playing a young players
The whole league buys and sells players. Brighton have spent near 500m in the last 3 seasons.

Just because you sell doesnt mean you dont buy players. Liverpool made over £200m in sales last summer.

If you want to go that way we have one of the lowest net spends over the last 5 years in the PL.

Chelsea have net spend of 260m over the last 3 years but they've spent over a billion in that time. Everyone sells in this league but if youve spent money youve still spent money.
ffs mate, accept when you got a post wrong it’s fine
So Brighton have brought in 490mil then as I told you they have a debt of 10mil

Over the same 4 yr period Chelsea debt is 800mil
Liverpool is 480mil
Not sure what point you’re making here

As @Eggs said the only place Moyes is going this summer is on his holidays

Picking the same stale players who are not performing and leaving orhers on the bench who deserve a chance 🤔. Even Slot last week made those 3 or 4 changes in the the game at 1-1 away from home to try and affect the game more and get 3 points. Could you see Moyes making those changes at 1-1 away from home when clearly playing poorly to try and win a game ? no , only when we go a goal down.

….you so excited you haven’t been to bed again, Zat 😄.

Don’t forget you live in a different time zone, don’t want you getting all nasty again, the full agenda coming out, we’re onto Thelwell again 😄

Won’t be long until you’re defending Moyes on your own
Who’s our first buy this summer under the dinosaur , mate, soucek? Chris wood? Ben white

….a few weeks ago we’d beaten Chelsea and drawn at Brentford, he’s being lauded. A week ago, George is being dismissed after a disappointing cameo in the Derby.

A last minute defeat, followed by another at West Ham. Forgive me for not jumping on the bandwagon just yet.

What you on about debt?

Do you mean net spends or do you mean debt that the clubs in or debt thats been put on the club?

You cant just use debt as a blanket statment and then act like your completely right.

Either way im not wrong spending money is spending money. Nothing else matters the squad is still worth the same

You keep saying develop the young players as though there's a guarantee it works. We could play Rohl, Dibling and Aznou most weeks then in 3 years time still have players who aren't good enough.

But the last two games encapsulates Moyes stubbornness, arrogance, dinosaur like approach in a nutshell.

Both matches could have had different outcomes if he had been more fluid in his management - bringing Barry on when Beto was injured was sheer stupidity. Starting him against West Ham is sackable.

Then of course there is starting JOB at RB, Gana playing 110 minutes, McNeil starting, and Keane receiving a one year extension - all proven that none of those work - but he just does it again, and again and again.

Time to jump on the bandwagon breakfast boy.
