Fight fire with fire and all that. That’s a shame, I thought you were a better poster than that.
Sorry mate but this constant sniping at other posters because they have differing opinions is becoming very tiresome (from both sides) I support the club, I'm not bothered about the individuals within it as they come and go all the time and the club is bigger than ANY of those individuals and it will be here longer than any of them. Manager and players have done well to get where they are and deserve credit but there is still room for improvement certainly in an attacking sense. I'm fairly content atm and certainly not in the 'sacking' camp of anything daft like that but I'm not a massive Moyes fan and never have been and it would take a fair bit to change that tbh. That’s a shame, I thought you were a better poster than that.
Garner is 25 and a regular established player before Moyes came in.
OBrien is 25 soon and also an established player just Dyche wouldnt play him for whatever reason.
Iroegbunum is 23 soon , another who isnt considered a young player.
Also players that were already here before he came in.
Can you name one "young proffessional " that he has brought in over the 3 windows that has progressed and playing regularly ?
More "Senior" players have stepped up than "young" players under Moyes
Harrison Armstrong has massively progressed more under Heckinbottom than Moyes.
Just a simple answer pls mate.
Name 1 "young professional " Moyes has brought to the club that have progressed and playing regularly .
Alcaraz
Aznou
Dibling
Rohl
George
I think he tried to play a more expansive game. They scored 60, which is way more than we usually do, and still finished top half.
Doesn't matter imo that's bottom 3 numbers
Of course. You do get anomalies at times though. I remember a George Graham side being the highest scoring team in 1991-1992 though his teams by and large were cautious
They wouldn’t sign the players he wanted. He had tried to sign Tarkowski and Maguire. The German signed Mavropanos because he was “better value.” They were actually very robust when they had a fit Zouma.
If you're not giving the reserve goalkeepers at least some assurances like that, you have to accept you're more likely not to have a Premier League-ready back up keeper. Depends how much risk you're willing to take.In the case of the league cup, they make promises to the reserve goalies when they sign them that they'll pick them in the league cup to make sure they are least get the odd game
Think that'll always happen. Saturday was a prime example of the best of Moyes. Low block, high energy press that forces opponents to make mistakes that creates chances. Try to play high possession tip tap out from the back and his teams struggle.I think he tried to play a more expansive game.
The ever shifting goal posts that are the Moyes thread.
It's far too obvious from the same suspects desperate not to give him any credit.
This. There’s a few still slithering away in here thinking that we don’t remember these opinionated big soccer brains were demanding Moyes was sacked and attacking anyone who reasoned against them.Note how certain posters seem to have scuttled off again too.
Kevin Nolan has literally been on the radio this morning and was talking about Mavropanos and it was 100% a Moyes signing, Kev watched him on Moyes behalf mate as did Pearce. Nice try though JFTM. He has actually been one of their better players recently so I'm not sure why you are complaining tbh as its a Moyes signing coming good. They wouldn’t sign the players he wanted. I do have concerns about Moyes spending big money based on prior instances in his career. He’s more adept at finding value in mid priced signings and developing them.Kevin Nolan has literally been on the radio this morning and was talking about Mavropanos and it was 100% a Moyes signing, Kev watched him on Moyes behalf mate as did Pearce.
