2025/26 David Moyes

That’s a shame, I thought you were a better poster than that.
Sorry mate but this constant sniping at other posters because they have differing opinions is becoming very tiresome (from both sides) I support the club, I'm not bothered about the individuals within it as they come and go all the time and the club is bigger than ANY of those individuals and it will be here longer than any of them. Manager and players have done well to get where they are and deserve credit but there is still room for improvement certainly in an attacking sense. I'm fairly content atm and certainly not in the 'sacking' camp of anything daft like that but I'm not a massive Moyes fan and never have been and it would take a fair bit to change that tbh.

Apologies for what I said before.

Garner is 25 and a regular established player before Moyes came in.
OBrien is 25 soon and also an established player just Dyche wouldnt play him for whatever reason.
Iroegbunum is 23 soon , another who isnt considered a young player.
Also players that were already here before he came in.

Can you name one "young proffessional " that he has brought in over the 3 windows that has progressed and playing regularly ?

More "Senior" players have stepped up than "young" players under Moyes

Harrison Armstrong has massively progressed more under Heckinbottom than Moyes.

Just a simple answer pls mate.

Name 1 "young professional " Moyes has brought to the club that have progressed and playing regularly .

Alcaraz
Aznou
Dibling
Rohl
George

You'll be here all year. He's just a wum.

I think he tried to play a more expansive game. They scored 60, which is way more than we usually do, and still finished top half.

Doesn't matter imo that's bottom 3 numbers

Of course. You do get anomalies at times though. I remember a George Graham side being the highest scoring team in 1991-1992 though his teams by and large were cautious

If you guys look at his results at west ham, i think Dec or Jan onwards then you'll have fun counting:

Defeats by 3 goals...
...by 4 goals...
...by 5 goals...

and more than 5 goals.

He left West Ham broken and the fans were right to want him out.

They wouldn’t sign the players he wanted. He had tried to sign Tarkowski and Maguire. The German signed Mavropanos because he was “better value.” They were actually very robust when they had a fit Zouma.

He signed off on all the players and decided not to increase his bid for Tarkowski.

Lets not rewrite history buddy.

The contract offer was on the table and wasnt signed as it didnt give him full authority on signings.

They then removed the contract offer. He left and they were then stuffed and needing to rebuild most of the rubbish squad he left them with.

Any real long term West Ham fan who has half decent connections there would tell you this, its no secret.

In the case of the league cup, they make promises to the reserve goalies when they sign them that they'll pick them in the league cup to make sure they are least get the odd game
If you're not giving the reserve goalkeepers at least some assurances like that, you have to accept you're more likely not to have a Premier League-ready back up keeper. Depends how much risk you're willing to take.

The ever shifting goal posts that are the Moyes thread.

It's far too obvious from the same suspects desperate not to give him any credit.

Note how certain posters seem to have scuttled off again too.
This. There’s a few still slithering away in here thinking that we don’t remember these opinionated big soccer brains were demanding Moyes was sacked and attacking anyone who reasoned against them.

Unless we draw a line once and for all on this type of behaviour then Everton will continually be compromised by their self righteous NSNO lad better bloo behaviour.

Join us, the sound blues, in our campaign against those who BLIGHT our community and club.

Kevin Nolan has literally been on the radio this morning and was talking about Mavropanos and it was 100% a Moyes signing, Kev watched him on Moyes behalf mate as did Pearce. Nice try though JFTM. He has actually been one of their better players recently so I'm not sure why you are complaining tbh as its a Moyes signing coming good.

I do have concerns about Moyes spending big money based on prior instances in his career. He’s more adept at finding value in mid priced signings and developing them.

Anyway hopefully this new collegiate transfer board they have in place can mitigate some of the risk in that.

For years we wondered what could moyes do if we had the funds to back him...

When you think of the players we could of had if we weren't outbid by teams like spurs and Newcastle, villa etc:
Cech
Essien
Hazard
Moutinho
Parker
Fernandes
Walker/naughton
Emre
Negredo

Sure there's plenty more

Hopefully we might just get an answer to that hypothetical in the next few years (I'd assume hes going to get an extension if he wants it)
