2025/26 David Moyes

Slightly low points total for troubling the CL places, but then it's just one of them seasons with a lot of teams taking points off each other. Without going all kopite, because I know it's not the real table, but the 17 points from them 10 games would translate to about 64 points over a full season
We've got 3 points from the last game. That's 114 points over the full season. Surely some kind of record? Especially with 114 goals scored and 0 conceded?. Mental

I think he tried to play a more expansive game. They scored 60, which is way more than we usually do, and still finished top half.

Moyes gets slaughtered for his side letting in 74 yet that same season Iraola's bournemouth let in 67. Scored fewer than West Ham. And finished 12 points behind.
Yet he's given this superior manager status.
Not a dig at iraola. I like him. But its the double standards of a few on here.

10 games is a decent enough sample size to judge what sort of form you're in. Most form tables only use 6 games, and I did state I was fully aware it's not the actual real table.

Interesting in Carlo Ancelotti final 48 games (as in his most recent 48 games) in charge of Everton he also got exactly 74points as well, so not bad company for Moyes to be in.

In terms of other managers most recent 48 league games in charge of Everton

Martinez 61

Koeman only managed 47 games but got 69 points

Marco Silva 61

Sean Dyche 60

Other managers didn’t get anywhere near 48 games.

Lampard had 33 from 38

Any trophies? 😊

Roberto Martinez almost achieved that with 10 games to spare.

Just shows how unbelievably good that Camelot season was.

Yeah, but the team he inherited was much better than what David Moyes inherited, and the squad was in a healthier state.

Not taking anything away from him as it was a great season, though some might say we bottled it after putting ourselves in pole position for top 4.

We were expected to be around the top 6 when Martinez took over. That wasn't the case with Moyes, even in the summer.
