Just shows how unbelievably good that Camelot season was.

He achieved it with a great squad mostly built by Moyes and which he ended up leaving a shell of its former self when he took over.

Yeah, but the team he inherited was much better than what David Moyes inherited, and the squad was in a healthier state.

Not taking anything away from him as it was a great season, though some might say we bottled it after putting ourselves in pole position for top 4.

We were expected to be around the top 6 when Martinez took over. That wasn't the case with Moyes, even in the summer.

He's done well. But let's not forget that he inherited

He didn’t inherit Alcaraz, and wtf even is that list of players in the first place Dyche had all of those players and you were telling us we couldn’t hope to finish any higher than 17th.

Never say never but I imagine he needs to drop down a division. I can't see any of the current teams in the league bringing him in if they have a vacancy.

I defo can see it. As soon as the red lights start flashing on the dashboard of those two teams they'll dump McKenna/van Nistelrooy and send for Dyche. Almost guaranteed.

As said: we better be in about 14th / 15th when that happens with a bit of daylight to play with.

He got sacked deservedly so - get over it - He's been paid well great job last season - disastrous this season - 8 wins in 12 months is a sacking offence his football was so hard to watch along with his negative team selections etc good luck & goodbye to him ....

I am sure a lower division club will take him on ....

Gets the Ipswich or Leicester job and saves them - at our expense.

Fair point. I was honestly just trying to put in to perspective what Moyes has done in last 14 months. Dave praises Martinez for getting us an additional 9 points with the squad he took over, but isn’t smart enough to know that overall it was a woeful attempt at managing Everton, I don’t know stats for sure, but (and this is a question) has any other manager got 25 (TWENTYFIVE) points less season on season other than Roberto Martinez in PL history? Slot might do it this year.
