mightymoyes
Player Valuation: £70m
We should employ this dour git to manage us away from home and an adventurous attacking manager to run the home games
The thing is people need to come up with a rationale for firing someone under contract who will be hitting all of their targets. The money wasted firing Moyes and his staff would be better spend acquiring better players.Seemed a pretty quiet transfer window for most clubs tbh. Maybe PSR related.
Ive no qualms Moyes going. But its a big thing as to who it is replaces him
people seem to struggle for names outside of Glasner and iraola.
Good post..Super win today
I'm celebrating this win like any other Everton win under ANY manager.
Do I want him sacked right now ....no.
I can and will acknowledge the job he has done ( the cups aside ) as giving us relative stability , but come season end he should be thanked and replaced.
Under Dyche & Jaffa boy I celebrated every win the same but still held my view they should never have been near this club. Its the team & the club always for me.
Label me what you want it doesnt matter a jot to me , and hold the firm view Moyes cant/ wont take this club were we all want it to be.
My choice in the summer ..the Best available.
Honestly for those of you who virtue signal your ability to dream SO big let me give you one piece of advice: the primary signal we are going to progress is NOT the manager. It’s if we don’t sell Branthwaite and Iliman. That’s it. Your fantasy manager (nor Moyes) cannot make up the gap in quality if we sell. That’s what you should all be spending your energy on. Neither Moyes nor your fantasy progressive never selects the wrong lineup option can win if we sell our best players. The manager thing is for marks. Are we still a selling club? That’s the question.
That's a weird way of complimenting Davey on the win, but then he's not your #Gaffer is he?

That's what comes with building a squad, not just a team.As the home record shows, what we’re doing away from home isn’t a formula for winning games at home. A lot of teams are doing this though. Sit deep, cede possession, take chances on the break. It works until you have to make the play yourself. Only Arsenal and City are doing anything repeatable in my view.
Id be even okay with locking Moyes in the toilet for home games while baines managed usWe should employ this dour git to manage us away from home and an adventurous attacking manager to run the home games
Whats the guarantee any manager improves us.Pipe dream ? So you think getting a manager in that can push us on to try and win a trophy is a pipe dream? If you are scared of change maybe you should look for another sport.
This club has not won anything for 30 years finishing 10th in the league is not good enough for Everton Football Club.
I would thank Moyes for his contribution to stabilising the club and replace him in the summer
There are no guarantees but you have to keep trying to find the one that takes us to the next levelWhats the guarantee any manager improves us.
When did they last one make us so much better.
Some of the previous ones almost relegated us. Keep sacking managers. Not a great plan .There are no guarantees but you have to keep trying to find the one that takes us to the next level
So you are happy to see an endless procession of managers, in the hope that one day we stumble across one that brings us what you deem as success? There are no guarantees but you have to keep trying to find the one that takes us to the next level
