Ha ha hes trolling you all at this stage.

"My first choice at this time is Keane & Tarkowski. Yes Branthwaite and O'Brien show promise as young players but at this time we need experience".

Im quoting his mindset here lids.

Is it me or is Moyes beginning to more and more rinse Dibling in public.

On Rohl, Aznou, Dibling - how close are they to more opportunities? Moyes: "Some of them are close, some of them not so close."

He says they have to "improve" if they want chances. Moyes stresses he wants to pick his best team whenever he can.

Asked about players playing out of position.

He suggests seeing others play in your position might be a wake up call for those missing out.

Moyes: "No. not really, I think it was for the first time we had the players to rotate and try things."

Options at the back tomorrow:-
1. Same as Monday, same impotence down the flanks, same lack of pace at the back
2. 4 CBs across the line, see above, only worse.
3. Caves in to pressure, plays Patterson and Mykolenko, drops Keane, Jarrad starts at CB, we likely lose anyway and DM claims he was right all along.

That sounds very pessimistic, but I feel I've been dragged into that position.

In previous interviews he’s compared it to playing Lescott as a full back, he also compares playing Armstrong out wide to Arteta back in the day. He’ll never change, he’s stuck in his early 2000s ways. The friedkins have got a big decision to make in the summer, if they want us to kick on we need a modern day coach.

Arteta & Armstrong lol

I wish I could laugh… but I’m just completely demoralised at this point

Yes same.

His comments on Branthwaite are just plain mad, and he's gaslighting everyone. Was he included in an England squad as a LB? Were United after him to play at LB? He's been playing CB for 5 years but apparently he's now a young CB who needs to develop his skills out wide.......?

Aznou must be absolutely livid on an hourly basis

Maybe he's just showing his age and his brain is getting muddled up.

He's not going to change after managing for 25 years. He prefers height and physicality over players in natural positions and prioritises that over balance.

El midget gemsinhos say hello

Im certain that losses (within reason) would be mitigated by using young players.

Who even cares if were 9th or 12th.

Id rather 12th developing players for next season than 9th with no preparation for the future.

Someone should suggest to him that playing players in their correct positions might give you the chance to win some games at home.

If I were the Friedkins listening to that, trying to build a model of buying young to increase sell on value, I'd be horrified by that press conference.

I didn't like his attitude in that presser. So defensive and dismissive.
We all know what stubborn balls will do next game.

Genuinely wouldn’t put it past him to get to a perceived really difficult game (Arsenal away or something), and put Patterson, Dibling et al in as the fans want so he can have his ‘see, told you so’ moment.

I still stand by the opinion he didn't bring all these lads in by choice.

He had his few choices and they start, the others were pushed by Age/profile. Yeah he signed off on them. But he knows he has full control over the teamsheet.

Whichever way it happened though, Accountability will fall at his door..
All the evidence suggests he didn't get the players he wanted. He may have agreed to the signings in the end but he clearly didn't want these players. It makes no sense to sign players you really want and them not use them. It's pretty obvious the recruitment process didn't work.
