2025/26 David Moyes

??? Us getting 4th place is a bigger achievement than Leicester winning the league? That’s ridiculous and I’d never say such a thing. Get your facts right please, never said anything like that.
I didn't say you did, I was just guessing which posters might have said it. You might want to reflect upon why you were high on that list?

If we make big profits and are able to reinvest it in the team it can actually be a good thing. But I would be rather surprised if someone comes in for KDH after one season. He’ll get a sideways move at best.

If someone came in for N’Diaye and we were able to use the profits to buy Bowen from a relegated West ham we’d have a better player and maybe a bit of profit on top.
Lol. Trade 25 year old Ndiaye for 29 year old Bowen, who is on a much bigger wage. Great strategy. Sustainable.

You are now knocking our players for the sake of the manager..

I know you put in the hard yards, but thats going way off path..

Has always done this. Whatever way the argument can be framed to put his idol in a good light, they will do it. Knocking players to make Moyes decision seem correct is one .

It's no different to the ones ranting on about Moyes every action being crap

It's just a lot of noise

Yes please. That will be really interesting, suggesting that Everton finishing 4th would be a better achievement than what Leicester did is beyond moronic, so I want to see some of the things that I’ve said that are such a wildly stupid level.

But think on, because if you say, for example, that me saying Everton winning away at UTD with 10 men is our best away result for a certain period of time, you’d be showing yourself up more than me, because if you think me saying that is as outlandish as someone thinking us getting 4th being a better achievement than what Leicester did then in many ways you’d look equally as stupid as whoever did say that. I don’t believe anyone did and you’ve been trolled.

I'm not sure I'm having Garner as a defensive mid. (Then again I don't class Gueye as one either really)

Of course he shouldn't be playing right back though!

To be honest I don't love how our fans turn so easily. Gueye has been a boss player for us, he has a bit of a blip and everyone is shouting that he is finished and should never start for us again. There is a middle ground to be had here.
I think Moyes is setting Gueye up for failure by playing him EVERY minute Give him a game off or reduced minutes for a while. Not a punishment, just good player management...just common sense.

Ha ha. I love that you tried to 8 Mile me by including one of your insane proclamations in your faux outraged response. You're right about one thing, your idiotic suggestion that beating a broken down Amorim-led Man Utd 1-0 away from home when they sat below us in the league table being our finest result in thirty years isn't as insane as saying us scraping fourth on fifty something points was better than Leicester winning the league. It was crazy, but it wasn't that crazy. So, apologies, I suppose.

Insane? So say you don’t agree, fine no issues, but surely you think it’s one of the best? So by your silly logic me saying something is the best is insane, but you think it’s one of the best and that’s perfectly sane?

Now you may claim it wasn’t one of the best away results in recent years, but that would just be childish.

I do not think it is one of the best. Certainly not over a thirty year period. That is certifiable. You are unhinged, Percy.

“Amorim-led” should I now check your thoughts on Moyes so I can use “Moyes-led” Everton winning away at Old Trafford for the 3rd time in 33 years and being the only team to EVER beat them there with 10-men.

For context, this was because you thought I’d said Everton getting 4th was better than what Leicester did in 15-16, I didn’t say that, but you were clearly going to assimilate that with me saying Everton winning away at UTD with 10 men was equally as “insane”

I apologise for going this hard on schooling you, but occasionally people need piping down.

I notice you actually didn’t have anything in your armoury other than the UTD game (which was nowhere near as crazy) so yes I do Eminem you in the final battle of 8-mile, now’s the time to drop the mic, but not in a positive sense of the term 👍👍

Ok, name 8 better away wins, allow for squad quality, opposition quality, number of player on the pitch and our record at said ground. We both know you can’t or won’t in good conscience name 8 better away wins.

What you gonna say Everton away at Anfield during covid when they’d lost their previous 5 at home?
