2025/26 David Moyes

So wanting him out because of the home form is baffling.
For example if we had 3 more wins at home we would be 4th. Are people really wanting him gone for not being 4th after our last few years?

We are top half with 11 games to go. What were we honestly expecting?
With all the ins and outs in the summer I think he has overachieved. Style of play could be better but without full backs and a striker that was always going to be the case.
Mate hes literally thrown multiple games away down purely to his team selections & tactics alone. Its straight out of the Moyes playbook - the fella never learns.

We're only 'overacheiving' away from home courtesy of a handful of narrow wins where that has generally been his bread-and-butter in his career - literally everything else has been unacceptable..

Sean? Is that you?? This has some "the form doesn't look that bad if you stick a couple of wins in there" energy.

We've been a mess for years under various managers and some on here think the answer is to change the manager once again, you couldn't make it up.
It will take holding their nerve for this to work but from what I've heard TFG are all in on the plan.
Moyes wasn’t in TFG’s plans so I don’t see how removing him is a difficult decision for them

Wasting your time mate, too many are busy worshiping their supreme leader Kim Jong Un style as they believe he can do no wrong regardless.

I'm starting to get flashbacks to the Dyche days and writing on here ''the definition of insanity is....'' our main problems are our strikers are crap and that Moyes is not playing players in their best position and shoe horning other players in despite their form and also sh1t3 tactics and game management/awareness/subs. I didn't really want Moyes back but accepted it and was amazed at the good attacking football we started playing last January, that is a distant memory now though but I'm just curious as to why he doesn't try to play like that anymore. Last January was a riskier period in terms of relegation and you could have understood some conservatism but no he went for it with attacking play? or am I imagining things?

He is here as a safe pair of hands until next season. That's it.
Foundations are being built by the team being created around him.
For info this team wasn't in place during the summer window.
Any change we made now would only be another safe pair of hands until next year.
Any decent coach wouldn't be looking at us yet.

This club needed and is being rebuilt from the inside. It will take time.
Yes but a good manager can improve things quickly on the pitch IE Emery at Villa, yes he probably inherited a better squad but got a lot more out of them. We gone up a small level from dyche and ultimately Moyes wouldnt be our manager if TFG had got to the end of last season and made an appointment in tbe summer

No 9th is a good position but not good enough for some. I was asking where should we be for them to be happy?
I'd be made up with 9th, if we were playing players in their proper positions and blooding youngsters that could be the heartbeat of the team for years to come.

As it is, we've got DM making hideous selections match after match, sometimes making changes in time to salvage a result and sometimes not, alienating young players and stubbornly persisting with the likes of Tarkowski and Gueye even though they look physically past it and awful more or less every game.

Moyes is more concerned with keeping what reputation he has in tact, than in building solid foundations for The Project that we keep hearing so much about.
