2025/26 David Moyes

I've not heard of anyone at the club losing patience with Moyes, quite the opposite really. He is highly respected.

If you mean the fans then when it starts showing on matchdays at the ground they may take notice but we are a long way off from that happening yet.

A few people on a forum with opposite views and some with an actual hatred of Moyes isn't going to affect anything.
I see Moyes agrees with you.

Nip and tuck, we could have won, his square pegs in round holes were the right decisions, Keane was great.

Then all I can add is -

MOYES IN!!

He literally could've played this side yesterday and im super confident that we would've at least put a bit more of a convincing performance in with no square pegs in any round holes: -

Pickford

Patterson -- Tark -- Branners -- Myko

Rohl
---- Garner ---- KDH

Ndaiye
--------------- George
Barry

But alas.. he's about as adventurous as a Sunday night sat on the bog.

If Moyes was builder the house would collapse, what foundations is he laying ?
He is here as a safe pair of hands until next season. That's it.
Foundations are being built by the team being created around him.
For info this team wasn't in place during the summer window.
Any change we made now would only be another safe pair of hands until next year.
Any decent coach wouldn't be looking at us yet.

This club needed and is being rebuilt from the inside. It will take time.

That's too easy and positive for him

So he is actually quite pleased with last night then. We haven’t won a game at home for 3 months but we didn't get beaten as badly as we usually do so that’s okay. Not to me it isn't dithering Dave, it is shocking. This is bloody Everton and any half assed Manager should be winning more than that at home. Poorer teams have beaten us.

That is where we are basically at with him. Nothing to to do with the baffling and negative line ups and tactics.

Roll on Summer when we hopefully reset Manager wise once again. Had enough of being embarrassed by him.

I think the club see him as a safe pair of hands for the next 3 or 4 seasons to get us consistently in the top half and the odd european qualification. Then we will see where we go from there

So wanting him out because of the home form is baffling.
For example if we had 3 more wins at home we would be 4th. Are people really wanting him gone for not being 4th after our last few years?

We are top half with 11 games to go. What were we honestly expecting?
With all the ins and outs in the summer I think he has overachieved. Style of play could be better but without full backs and a striker that was always going to be the case.

In the summer we signed Aznou, Dibling, Alcaraz, Grealish, Rohl, KDH and Barry. Then George on loan in January. Of those 8 new signings, only 2 started the game last night. It’s hardly a glowing endorsement of Moyes’ ability to coach players. The Friedkins shouldn’t give him the chance to squander another transfer window with signings he won’t play.
I’m not suggesting otherwise. I was responding about Martinez who clearly couldn’t coach players

Everything under Moyes is just turgid, slow and boring.. yes we are safe but God it's awful to watch most of the time!

Instead of going out and setting up not to lose, how about going out and setting up to try and win a game!!

Our front two are complete garbo and have to be replaced asap in the summer. If things haven't changed by next Christmas with Moyes then maybe his time will be up!
