2025/26 David Moyes

He looks to me like he believes he's here for the long haul.

I'd say if hels indulged the club will go backwards and not forwards in terms of the new start we were promised at BMD.

TFG have to step up now - even if we get top half - and relieve Moyes of his position.
No one actually ever knew what length his contract was for, that’s where I’m basing my theory on, get us away from the mire last season, get us through the first at BMD without being in the dogfight and step down

I don’t believe even Davey believes he was gonna be back any longer than that

It all depends on what they expect
For all we know they might be happy with the improvement on the last couple of years

I'd love a young talented, still learning but will innovate in real time manager, but I don't think we have the patience for that. It's why we end up with stuck in their ways managers

Iraeola for example would be entertaining but sometimes the wheels come off. Not had a great record lately for example

CB at left back.
CM at right back.
CM at LW.

Winger on the bench.
LB on the bench.
RB on the bench.

Make it make sense.
The LB and RB on the bench are horrific footballers and not at a PL standard. I mean I think that part is really easy to explain.

It seems to wind people up but James Garner is both comfortable at RB and our best player there. Call him Phil Lahm if it makes you feel better, but playing him at RB is the right decision and it did pretty well today. Branthwaite at LB I'm less inclined to defend. Also a half decent manager could easily concoct the most basic structure that defends as a back four and attacks as a back three and we'd be fine with him there.

We don't have a half decent manager though.

We started a CM at LW because the manager insisted on keeping a player he should have loaned and now has to make that decision look justified.

Fingers crossed.

TFG might be wary of upsetting the media by sacking him. That's the only thing that might save Moyes...and he has plenty of arse wipes in the media ready to defend him...as we'll see in the coming days.

Proper Sean Dyche performance from him tonight. Him and the management team should be embarrassed with the crap served up at home this season.

It will take about 20k fans binning it off for anyone to take notice. He's here until the end of his contract
I hope to god you’re wrong mate, another season of this turgid stuff and it will be ourselves not the kopites being thrown into the Mersey……voluntarily 😉😂👍

Give him credit this season in games but honestly so negative. Branthwaite at lb then putting a cm on the left then two cm sitting infront of the back four. Pathetic feel like have said this all season kdh is not a 10, like most teams if a 3 man mid play them in a 3 and let two join the attack. Start playing george/ Dibling now and go at teams
