Branthwaite had a solid game at lb...doesn't cover the ground like myko but he has more quality on the ball and thats probably why he played. Same on the other side with garner. No huge complaints with the line up tonight, perhaps a change sooner would have been better.

I said before the game I think he’s trying to get himself sacked with these line ups and I stick by it. He looks utterly fed up, he wants the pay off.

He is not very good mate...not good enough

that would be fine, but the last time he played he was pretty good... many people remember it too... certainly better than our 36 year old who isn't eating during the daytime.

The complaint should be that moving Branthwaite to LB, and moving Garner to RB, ensures people like Keane and Gana come into the XI. That's the biggest problem right now.

But.......they have. It is one of the major things we were told by basically every clubs fans who have moved stadiums in the last 10-15 years, 'You will struggle at home in your first season'. Seems foolish to completely ignore that, no?

Sky even made a point of it before the game, only Derby of the teams to move in the last 20 years had a better PPG in the first post stadium move season than they did in the last at the old one, that’s a list that includes Arsenal, City and Spurs

Gana is in the XI regardless. He’s playing every minute he’s available for and that’s the end of it.
