Lets hope soGolden handshake, that’s been my theory for months, get through the season as high up as possible, leave a solid baseline for a fresh start in the summer

Agreed. Would rather lose 4-3 with Dibling on one wing and Aznou flying round on the other than these insipid capitulations. These games we nearly win then blame the ref, stadium, VAR, Monday night games, silent crowd, Barry, Gary Neville when we lose.I posted in the match thread. We're not in danger of relegation. We're not trying to hold on to a European spot. What was the point in setting up that way? What is the purpose of playing so many out of position, having 3 centerbacks and 5 center midfielders on the pitch? Why wouldn't we have a go? There's just no good logic to it.
Well it’s not “good” but it’s a vast improvement on recent seasonsAll so predictable. Moyes could suck the air from a vacuum chamber, the miserable, negative get. 9th though lads, so all is good.
If you dont think that was as a less expansive performance as you can get, I've got some magic beans to sell you.We were playing a more attacking game and they caught us on the counter
That’s the risk you take
People complain about “cowardly” tactics, but there’s a reason we do better away and that’s because playing as an away team suits us more
I think we need to accept that playing a less expansive game works better for us and we should lean into it
Playing without actual full backs and wingers to try and cover defensive issues, but also expecting them to get forward like normal full backs and wingers is cowardly football. And it doesn't work either. It's just neither here nor there. It's not parking the bus or going for it. Its anti footballWe were playing a more attacking game and they caught us on the counter

We played a more attacking game? Our best chance was a shot from Keane from miles out.We were playing a more attacking game and they caught us on the counter

I Would go for glasner, did a great job at palace.I'm pretty sure a decent last 10 games or so of this season will get us top 10. The league is just so poor that winning another 4 or winning 3 and drawing a handful more will get us over that dotted line between 10th and 11th - which is a psychological improvement if nothing else.
But no one can want this feller to manage here next season. He's not a coach he's an anachronism. He cant do much else than get the wagons into a circle...and that'll be enough with our quality to get mid table, btw. It's just not enough.
I expect TFG to dismiss him - top half finish or not.
I mean, they absolutely wouldI'm not sure the people complaining about cowardly tactics at home would be doing so if we were winning at BMD with any kind of realistic regularity mate
I really hope you’re right. There’s no way anyone can defend the dross Moyes has served up in home games this season.
Please there were people defending Dyche to the bitter endIf Dyche was serving up this crap at home everyone would be demanding him out!!
Yet you can’t have ago at Moyes can you!!!!
Glad you admit you gave been wrong - DM has to go at the end of the season!
Those wasted corners tonight? We were blocking the goal up even if a shot had come in from a knock down?
Ideally a jan at the back to head it back across fgs ....
12 left and the at least 4 of the next 7 are going to be extremely difficult to get anything out of.I'm pretty sure a decent last 10 games or so of this season will get us top 10.
