If everyone who wants Moyes sacked this summer expects the new manager to get top 6 just by changing the current starting 11 and attacking more at home, then it's going to be a tough ride for whoever comes in.

You are accepting we can't be better. Dyche (bottom feeder) was proven wrong by Moyes and the right man will prove Moyes wrong. Unfortunately football has to be ruthless and we know Moyes level..it is where we are. I believe with our players and resource that Silva or Howe could improve us again.

Just curious with matches against a resurgent man united, Newcastle, Chelsea, arsenal and Liverpool approaching , how many of those games do people even the moyesiah zealots think we'll win? especially with his dismal record against those teams (talking about sky 6 not horse punchers)

I certainly wouldn’t say I was confident, but I think in many ways the home games there suit us more than some of the recent ones we’ve had. It’s not something I’d be hugely concerned about I don’t think.

In their correct position I would agree. O'Brien is a carthorse at right back and Armstrong is not a winger. Dewbury-Hall is also not a number 10 and Beto is not worth 30mins.

Actually having read this again..it is just such rubbish. To change our winning ratio we need do something different and you are suggesting we stick. NOTHING WILL IMPROVE!
No things are guaranteed but Moyes is a much better version of Dyche. Much, much better but still limited in outlook.

We're a fickle bunch... After what we've endured for the past few years a bit of boring mid table is a welcome respite in a way.

Look at Leicester, relegated and points deducted in the championship. Could go down again.

One Pickford save that doesn't happen and that could be us.

The margins are very fine

I don't think Silva's really done anything to suggest failure at his biggest job was an anomaly. It would be an astonishing appointment.
