The context is genuinely irrelevant. Saying you'd sell KDH (a quality player) and keep Alcaraz (a headless chicken) is is just nuts. I don't mean it invalidates your opinion on everything Zat, but it sort of invalidates your opinion on those two players to me.
KDH is NOT a quality player at 10. He isnt even a 10 and is anonymous there. The first half against Fulham shows this, as do most games when hes used there.
Alcaraz is a quality 10 when used in a team that focuses on quick transitions e.g last season. Not slow build up like this season.
To state otherwise it just looks like you dont watch the games, are a sheep or have a limited understanding.
Not a big deal for me tbh.
It’s pointless to argue with you.
Argue? You dont argue or discuss.
Your sole purpose here is to praise
Moyes.
To be fair Zat when a player is good enough, regardless of age - Moyes tends to play them.
We all want to see the young lads thriving. Some should definitely have had more of a chance but no manager we have had in recent years has ever really leant into the youth heavily unless they were stand out.
Armstrong playing each game now is a testament to how good he is.
Rohl plays well finally and is dropped.
Alcaraz got motm's and was used out wide
Patterson plays well and is dropped
Aznou has a quality cameo and dropped
Its just random and can be shown across multiple positions. There is no rewarding merit by
Moyes.
Stating "
dibling needs to pull his finger our" to be used is utter nonsense and lies.
Isolating and hooking players when theyre not the worst on the pitch is Moyes modus operandi.
Im tired of it.
People keep using Armstrong as an example but he ended up in the first team because there was absolutely no choice but to play him. We had no other players in that position due to a combination of injuries and AFCON. Moyes is on record, numerous times, stating that he wouldn't have brought him back unless circumstances forced it and is also on record right up until the 11th hour of the transfer window that he would prefer to send him back to Preston. Now that other players are back I'm not convinced that he'll continue being selected. Time will tell, of course, but it's a little early to claim that Armstrong is an iron clad example of a youngster Moyes trusts.
Indeed. Hes backed himself into a corner by saying if he keeps him he'll have to start him
What this means is that he'll not be made a fool of so Armstrong starts and gets hooked first.
Thing is that Moyes knows his and the limitations of life, its what makes him successful.
In the first half at Leeds and first half Fulham the limitations were there.
He's good in the adverseness though and Moyes at his best in the second half Fulham
He wasnt having Silva and Iwobi do him.
Just saying, there's a glass ceiling to the fella.
Then why did he setup the same way 2 games in a row where we started badly and could have been down multiple goals in each game?
He doesnt know his limitations. Hes a cowarsly negative manager.
