The home form hasn't been good enough.I keep reminding people of this as well. Home form has been an issue for years.
I think that's where a lot of the frustration with him this season has come from, which is a fair cop.

‘Big Daddy’ Moyes. Sounds more appropriate, mate…All his foolish detractors should only be allowed refer to him on here as "Daddy Moyes" if he's get us back into Europe.
Hopefully with the administrations help we can sign this into law.
We just have a counterattacking style of play that is fairly effective at away games where the onous is on the home team to attack us but falls apart when they don't have to and are happy to sit back. Look, I'm not saying that our home form has been acceptable this season. It hasn't. Its been dreadful. But I just can't have people saying that its regressed as though it hasn't been terrible for years.Whilst I agree with what you've put, in our first 8 games at HD, we won 4, drew 2 and lost 2.
In the last 4 we've drawn 2 lost 2. We don't have to go back seasons to see regression. We are starting to look like rabbits caught between the headlights at home. Bournemouth becomes massive as we are unlikely to see a win against utd as things stand.
He is absolutely NOT exempt from criticism.
There have been times this season he's had me pulling my hair out,but then I relax, take stock and look at the picture on the whole, which isn't bad.
Absolutely mateYes myself too! Too often tbh! I do need to learn to not be so reactionary but I go through that exact same process & im
sure many others do too.
It’s perfectly fine to rate the manager generally, NOT want him out, but also at times be able to criticise line ups, tactics, performances etc.
Opinions are part of football.
Without them, this forum wouldn’t even exist.
It’s the belittling behaviour in last 24 hours towards other fans I’m not comfortable with. We are better than that.
(That’s not aimed at you or anyone specifically btw)
PREACH IT, Chic’s!Lads all were asking is that you’re not a pant pissing performing angry chimp super bloo when most of us just want to discuss Everton in a fairly sound and reasoned manner. It’s not Moyes in or out, both are welcome, it’s the quite worrying behaviour that infects this place and it can’t continue or I swear down I’ll ruin you.
Thank you.
I haven't even entered the Relegation thread this season, that shows the change..What Moyes has done is what he said in his first presser after taking over from Dyche. That he hated looking at the table with Everton being near the relegation zone and wanted the club to be looking at Europe. He literally said it.
From an outsiders perspective he's taken a team sitting one place out of the relegation zone to an outsiders chance of Europe in 12 months.
From the inside you rip the guts out of that because he's David Moyes and not exciting enough.
There's an argument to say he's done to well in those 12 months. He's raised expectation now. Happens a lot at clubs. Anyone notice on this forum that a Europe thread appeared yesterday. This is a forum that had a relegation thread constantly being refreshed on here for about the past 5 years.
Marmite Moyes.
The owner will ask me to leave again in about a week at this pace I reckon friend.PREACH IT, Chic’s!

I don’t see a long-term plan in keeping David Moyes beyond his contract. People will tolerate turgid performances as long as the results come, but all it takes is one underperforming season and the mood will turn quickly, just like it did at West Ham.I’m happy with him staying. However I’m concerned going into the final year of his contract if players know he isn’t staying beyond that
