He was playing with an injury for a few weeks before he injured his ankle properly
lol that makes it exactly the same then

Mate this is it.All about opinions, just like with players , tactics etc. I've moaned about his selections, recently Brighton , Fulham etc, could of been well beat on 1st half showings , got 4pts so what do I know
Mr Nick I’m sensing a ferociousness in you that has been absent for some time and to be quite up front, I like it.lol that makes it exactly the same then![]()
Beautifully put, @Exeter_Gently.Mate this is it.
Absolutely everyone is it entitled their opinion but sometimes you've just got to hold your hands up and say Davie Moyes OBE knows best.
Coming on a forum throwing digital windmills, trying to prove your opinion is correct is futile.
Budgets dictate who wins trophies over the long term.1/ I didn't say he should have won one, I said if he wanted to be seen as a special manager he would have won one...he's had enough time to get one.
2/ so what he didn't have a massive budget. Did Martinez's budget at Wigan mean he couldn't beat City in their final?..or any other winner like O'Neill with Leicester, or Ravenelli at Leicester, or Birmingham etc etc
Like even IF don't like him that's fine.Beautifully put, @Exeter_Gently.
Whatever people’s opinions of Moyes are, remaining objective would help many threads on this forum.
Arteta was playing out of his skin at that time. Not going to interact with the orange faced lemon, but the final against Chelsea, we lost Jags, Arteta and Yakubo for that final. Take those three out of any team and they would struggle
We really haven't. We've just remained constantly crap. We won five pathetic home games last season. We're currently on four. As crap as we are at home, I think we'll cobble together a few more wins to keep our crap average going and beat our worst record. In the last three years we've won five, eight and six. Sounds like our terrible form goes way deeper than Moyes.

He is absolutely NOT exempt from criticism.I completely agree with most of this, and I’ve at times showed my disdain to certain Moyes related things. But it always comes from a good place in that we are desperate for some success. And I’m still man enough to say he’s the right msn for job right now & improved us.
However your last point I’ve bolded, could it not be argued there are posters who are trying to do exactly this but in the opposite way? That we should all fall in line & have the same singular opinion?
That Moyes is exempt from any criticism & that we must all post only one view of him?!
Because the pile on towards any poster who dares to be critical in the last 24 hours I’ve found to be very unpalatable.
It’s a footy forum, where everyone is entitled to their own views. I don’t always agree with what I read but such is life.
I think we do get caught in the ‘reactive’ trap when a game is live as we watch it. But it’s just emotions that lead fans to wanting better. I’m guilty of that at times too.
