2025/26 David Moyes

Please David start the game on Tuesday with the same intensity we ended the game today
I must have been watching a different match. For the first 10-15 minutes Fulham barely touched the ball and we should have been ahead.

We then got overrun and they dominated the rest of the first half, got an incredibly lucky goal, but could have been 2 or 3 more.

We dominated the second half.

In essence, if we can score in those early minutes, then we stand more chance of a win.

Moyes haters (not necessarily you) gotta hate, so they jump on any notional reason to hate. I was disappointed he did not start Branthwaite, but Moyes’ reasoning was sound, protect the lad and manage his minutes, whilst he is on the way back. Otherwise, solid pick of the team for me.

What's the difference between all three?
Several things, but if you don't know, I cannot help you. Indeed, no one can.
Thought I’d pop in to see how happy the forum is after another brilliant away win. Surely sitting in 7th our great supporters will focus on the data and the progress made.

Think I will pop back out and delete the internet.
Great 3 points. But some will always moan. They have to, it is in their DNA. Just unhappy people in life in general. Very sad.

It’s just the usual suspects, linking you to posts as soon as we win a game, just because im not a moyes fan. We can wait ans see what the future holds, but setting up
Negatively every week ends one way

No it’s the usual suspects trying to tell you why he’s the the man for the job

I’ve said a million times they’ll be ups n downs

We’re still a work in progress also

It’s about winning end of the day

And it’s got to now start at
Home

Sheer lunacy to want to sack him

I have noticed that almost all our American support are anti Moyes.
Is there a reason for this. Or any one have a theory on it perhaps !
Not me.

To be honest, I actually think American fans tend to be more patient than English fans and are generally okay with steady progress. That might be because, without relegation in US sports, we're used to watching our teams undergo lengthy rebuilds. I actually think American fans are too patient with those rebuilds, and the billionaire owners take advantage of that and don't spend as much as they should, but that's a different conversation.

No it’s TFG who will decide if he’s the man for the job, what me and you think makes zero difference. Will the luck still be on his side from now to the end of the season? Let’s hope so.

We win Tuesday and we hit the 40pt benchmark with 12 games remaining..

Though we do have alot of the big boys coming to our place now so need to stamp our ground at home..

Hopefully that starts with Bournemouth, be nice to do a double over the next messiah in Iraola..

It's impossible to imagine what would happen if another coach managed this team. Forget about Dyche, because besides proving he's not good, 50% of the starting lineup has changed. Therefore, we'll stick with this coach until the end of the season and see the results. In my personal opinion, he's almost good, but only for smaller teams without a deep squad to consider different options. Play Europe + PL + cups with extended squad would be a mess for him

Don’t think it’s right that you can absolve Moyes from any criticism just because he won the game when there are plenty of areas for improvement, a number of them directly related to his decisions.

Similarly it would be unlikely that he should be held totally responsible for any loss if a couple of events had gone the other way.

He is a long way from being perfect but similarly there are a lot worse managers as we well know.

He’s certainly got the points on the board but some of the football is dire. I think the performances were better last year when he came in but he seems to have gone conservative this season for some reason which is making a number of the games a hard watch.

Think the squad is better than last season as well although Branthwaite has been a big miss.

It’s great he’s getting the points & that we are looking up rather than down so not complaining but do think he needs to get more out of the team at home otherwise our fancy new stadium isn’t going to be the money spinner it needs to be.
