2025/26 David Moyes

we’re definitely better mate and i agree if we (can ( please sort out the home form )

we’d be more better and yes hope we win for you and all of our fans who attend

ye you’d be crazy to sack him

I want stability Matty, we did the chasing after the newest shiny thing for a decade and it got progressively worse. If Moyes does well next season it wouldn't be the worst thing to give him another and so on. Keep building the foundations, but we need to progress and he needs to stop shoehorning in players.

He also needs to learn from these games, three in a row where we could have been 2 or 3 goals down before halftime. I don't want that to be four games in a row on Tuesday. If we keep opening the door, sooner or later a team is going to accept that invite.

Nathan Patterson has played 265 minutes in the Premier League this season and hasn't assisted a goal. He hasn't created a big chance. He hasn't played a key pass. His expected assists (xA) per game is 0.04. He's made 5 assists in his whole career and scored one goal.

Using "not playing Patterson as he offers more attacking threat" is such a flimsy stick to try to beat Moyes with.

Dibling has been absolutely dire. If we had our time again we should’ve left well alone. May come good, but not worthy of discussion at the moment.
I agree that Dibling hasn't earned a start. But I just wish Moyes would keep the players out of position to a minimum when he can.

I don't think today was a master plan well executed. I think we were lucky to only be 1 down at half time, but Moyes did well to get a grip of the team at half time and made good subs in the 2nd.

Basically I'm not being a Debbie downer and crying in a win, I just think that even in victory, you can learn from your mistakes.

i agree mate - we are getting stability

and if we can get “home form stability”

be even better

Are you seriously comparing Fat Sam with Moyes? Why not throw Dyche in there, too?
Look, I have written it here before, but will repeat it... I am not a so-called "Moyes-lover" but I have have common sense and always try to think positively. He was the best pick after Dyche, and he has proved that by getting us up and away from the relegation zone. One step at a time mate. So... WHO do you want in to replace him?

What's the difference between all three?

I honestly thought our away form would eventually come crashing back to normality and have been fearing us not being able to turn around our home form as we could soon be looking down rather than up. However , I no longer think this away form is a purple patch, and if anything, I'm very excited to us getting better at home as we could really be in the mix next season if so.

Interesting stats. But another way to look at it is that equates to 5 matches. We’ve played 25. So the stats are skewed and unfair. And he hasn’t played 5 games of 90’ football. To me, it means he’s played absolutely sparingly and thrown in at the 87’ and has had no real support or belief from his manager and no opportunity to play consistently enough and shake off the rust.

This is just my opinion, but I felt he made us instantly better at RB and Jake instantly better at CB. Nathan was flying up and down the pitch, pressing up high, making crosses, tracking back. He’s not the best in the world but to me he’s clearly the best option at the club. I’m amazed at how well he’s been after playing so little and then getting a start.
