the line up did look very negative when it came out, playing centre backs as full backs.

Lot of over reaction though to a draw at Brighton.

….presume you mean on a contract extension. I’d be in agreement with at least offering him an extension but I’m not overly certain he will want to manage for longer than his current deal.

….i’ve posted on here lots something said to me many years ago that they shouldn’t lead players onto the pitch. The game is about footballers, they should come into the arena to facilitate the coin toss and not be central to pre-match ceremony.

Nah we really didn’t play good football under Moyes. We may have played some decent stuff in patches but consistently no way we played good football. I was bored senseless for most of his first tenure. He’s always been a negative manager. That’s why Martinez first seasons was such a pleasure. No one can pretend we’ve played good football this season, it’s plain to see we are one of the dullest teams to watch in the league.

Each to their own, but Moyes team was the best and most enjoyable to watch in my life time. Martinez too for the first season but then came a lesson in what happens if you don't adopt some pragmatism as a manager.

We are a boring watch this season but I'll take it if it means we stay in the top half. Change the full backs this summer and that'll help a lot.

I've always sat on the fence with Moyes but annoys me with his selections, Rohl does well at Villa then dropped for Gana, Patterson done OK and adds balance to back 4 , gets dropped even though we had to play a centre half at left back.
