2025/26 David Moyes

You can finish mid table and also expect some decent football to watch and see a long term plan on style and to actually look like we’ve been coached
I get what you’re saying but come on, you don’t get to midtable in the premiership without being “coached”. unfortunately there is not enough players in the squad that should be a part of a long term plan.

He's an old school manager, who will only play players he knows and sanctioned. Club signings, for the advancement of the team, not interested. Too stubborn.

It's a really poor premier league this year, we are where we are despite of him, rather than because of him. And it perhaps appears better as his predecessors were even more negative than him. We simply have to aspire to something better than this. 4 cbs, set up for a point against a team that haven't won in 10 or something. Absolutely rotten.

Should point to the fact that we did actually play good football under Moyes in his first spell here. I'm hopeful if given a bit more time it'll improve.

There are still some major issues in the squad, mainly the full backs, that'd make any manager struggle to get this team playing the way you want to see it. For now, I'm frustrated by an up and down season but content enough to say we are better than a year ago when he took charge.
Well he was still very cautious last time and negative. Taking forwards off for defenders to see out draws.
Yes he had 11 yrs to build something,
It was an easier time with only a
Few teams spending big money and 13/14
Teams all spending very little.

He had a RB on the bench who
Came on for 5 minutes threw 3 crosses in
And one led to a goal

100% I remember it being almost exactly like this, there were certain games, maybe not as much as this time around, that he set up simply not to lose, winnable games. He's done a good job on paper. A horrible job to the eye.

Nah we really didn’t play good football under Moyes. We may have played some decent stuff in patches but consistently no way we played good football. I was bored senseless for most of his first tenure. He’s always been a negative manager. That’s why Martinez first seasons was such a pleasure. No one can pretend we’ve played good football this season, it’s plain to see we are one of the dullest teams to watch in the league.
