And Moyes could never persuade a player like Lukaku to come here because they wouldn't buy into his dog turd nineteenth century tactics and team management style.

Yet he was happy enough to put up with those financial constraints. He was the perfect lackey for Kenwright really. He would never put the pressure on for extra funds etc. Especially in 2008/2009 when we really weren't a million miles away from making the breakthrough.

We don't know what went on behind the scenes, with regards to the politics of football. However, when judging a football manager I keep it to what I do know, and that is that I personally had a great time during Moyes first stint. I mentioned that we did not necessarily have the same funds as some other teams but he did work with it well.

I thought things were getting very stale after 2009 personally myself. We also bottled an FA cup semi final under Moyes against the poorest rs team since the 1950's.
