2025/26 David Moyes

Does it happen often that an 18 year old in one of the crappiest relegation outfits going puts up better numbers than experienced midtable players?

There's usually not many promising 18 year olds starting in those teams to begin with ad they typically defer to experience in those relegation battles and don't trust youth.

Would you rather be setting up DCL or Beto who scored 8 last season or Adam Armstrong or Ben Bereton Diaz? I think I know who'd be more likely to help me rack up assists.

Considering you tell me they're crap every single day you've just entire full meme mode. Goodbye to the match thread we go.

Oh my god, lads, LADS.

Newcastle just failed to beat Wolves. With their squad that cost about 5x as much as ours.

Maybe there actually isn't any science to this concept of "Expected wins" and you're just being a bunch of entitled pissy pants when we don't win every match.
Doesn't surprise me their away form has been dire this season and Howe isn't all that despite some fans wanting him over here

But a different manager doesn't get away wins against our bogey team Bournemouth, or Utd with 10 men or Forest with a depleted squad so we end up with less points. People seem to think there are there is this ideal world where if a manager makes certain decisions we correctly we win every game. It doesn't work like that. I doubt there are many managers in world football who would have us higher up the table and I don't really want to take a risk and get the 99% who would have us significantly lower.
Why does Moyes get credit for the wins at NF and Man Utd but its the players fault at home? Imho the win at Man Utd and especially NF was because OBrien ended up playing CB...a move Moyes HAD to make, because we all know he wouldve played Keane if available.

Starting McNeil over dibling is inexcusable for me.

There is nothing that McNeil can do that dibling cant do.

Heres i idea how about you encourage the lad instead of so negative towards him. Kids who attack need to know they can make mistakes, try to be progressive and loose the ball when attacking.

Fair play tonight. Whether that starting lineup was forced and he just happened to stumble upon it.. well it worked all the same. Thought it was really well balanced for what was required there.
