2025/26 David Moyes

Then it won't be him then as we will be hiring a head coach after Moyes. Moyes had us by the balls which is why he got it. Managers are so last decade.
Moyes is in effect a stop gap interim who's here to stabilise us. He'll most likely see out his contract and then we'll hopefully move on in strategy for something more ambitious which fits whatever the long term vision the owners and chief executive have for the club. That strategy should not involve appointing former managers even if Silva is a decent coach

Yes tend to agree there. I have a feeling Baines is being groomed for it with a team around him. Nothing to base it on just a feeling.

Rumour is Baines is leaving in the summer for a management job so it may actually be Coleman if we do appoint from within
Good Lord, Coleman?! As manager? What qualifications does he have for that post? It's crazy to me that people regularly post that managers like Glasner are "flavour of the month" managers but people are comfortable with completely unqualified candidates simply because of their prior association with the club.

Not saying I'd advocate that Windy as it would be a mistake but just saying if the club were looking to appoint from within I get the feeling it would be Coleman not Baines especially if Baines moves to pastures new

UEFA A and B badges.

Experience is his issue.

Moysie is gone in the summer, and Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane brought in on a two-year deal with Coleman under their wing. When O'Neill leaves, Coleman steps up to work fully alongside Keane in a kind of Clough/Taylor set-up. We then go on to win countless trophies. Yaay!

Utter nonsense, no way we’d appoint him after what he did at Sunderland 😉

Appointing within 🤔

The ITK's are out in force today..

Not happening, and Moyes wont be moving upstairs..

Give us a platform, see out his Contract, part ways amicably.

Plenty of time to look around at the man to take us forward ( didn't really work out that well last time though )

The split in this fanbase will never change with Moyes in charge.

18months left to rid us of looking over our shoulders.

Surely that should see acceptance from both sides of the divide ...

Depends who comes in next, I suppose.
