2025/26 David Moyes

Completely agree mate.

He looks frustrated, and has no connection or understanding with anyone who plays right wing.

It would be fine if we was solid and not conceding.

Even defensively he looks lost at right back when we play at home. Always on the back foot against his winger. It's frustrating to see how bad he is because it means left back can't be a priority to improve, which it should be as well.

I have no idea who is ultimately responsible. And that's the main problem

But my biggest concern is who is suggesting some of these players to.the manager or DOF, or the recruitment team or whoever?

Do we just have a problem with our scouting model and can't identify good players?

If players are being suggested who aren't the right signings, then it's hard to get everyone on the same page.

Since when has Moyes not been 100% behind his own signings?

Hes called dithering dave because he spends time selecting players to sign.

We punted Thelwell and its now on Moyes.

Its even been publically stated by Kinnear than Moyes makes the decisions.

Weve even brought in Moyes mate from City to underline this.

Its all on Moyes.

Could have signed 2 full backs in Jan with deals negotiated by Thelwell and Moyes declined them.

Been some frustrating performances like today's for sure, but also some surprise wins to balance it out. The nature of being mid table. I think that's just where this squad is right now and we'd all be saying similar things no matter who was in charge.

The continuing playing Obrien at RB is the most idiotic thing. He just cant play there. Another one on Moyes that

Just the most basic of things was keeping the same defence.

On the right id have understood using Rohl if not Patterson as an experiment and because he ended the last game at RB.

But isolating our 19 year old major summer signing then hooking him?

Mykolenko 5-15 yards from Grealish down the left and Obrien minimum 30 yards behind Dibling.

Scapegoated a 19 year old.

Yep, spot on. Its so alien to him, and when he gets the odd game at cb….then chucked back on the right….its destroying him.

Really feel for him.

He is actually our best centre back at the moment, he is very good there.

The immediate issue is putting a stop to these results at home. The same issues persist - conceding early and from set pieces in particular.
We need to be as compact at home as we are away. The sooner we can transition to JB and JOB as our main centre back pairing, the better. Keane cannot be given another year and Tarkowski needs to begin the transition to backup.

When Moyes was bemoaning the lack of signings all summer - who do you think he was talking to? Himself?
