2025/26 David Moyes

This squad is not widely improved on last years.

KDH and Grealish are the only two players you can make any sort of case for.

The other players we signed have had 0 impact whatsoever. That's not an improvement. It doesn't matter how much was spent if it produces no tangible benefit.

Just because I don't want the players we let go it doesn't automatically make the players we brought in superior.

You admit then it's improved.

Got there in the end.

Utter bonkers this, this loss os all on that.

We look so much more balanced when on is centre back.
I dont even think it's fair on the player. He's usually pretty good at centre half but almost always rubbish at right back. He's playing badly in a position he clearly doesn't know how to play. That's on the manager and coaching not the player.

Moyes is at his best when he has his backs to the wall and has no real choice at times at playing players.

He's at his worst when there's a 50/50 decision to be made and he will always, always choose the negative one.

Playing Keane today was an absolutely ridiculous decision, he has totally embarrassed himself and is, tactically outclassed.

If he can't shake his safety first negative approach then there's no point keeping him past this season.

Overall done a good job but I don't want years of this again.

Poor decision making today to bring Keane back. We kept a clean sheet last game.

Agreed with the subs. But conceding from that corner did us. They had barely touched the ball in that first 5 mins of second half until then.

Armstrong has to start over McNeil next game.

Two big home games coming up for Moyes now. Bottom of the table Wolves and our only chance for a cup run. We can't be losing both of them. Even losing one of them would be disappointing.

If we only win one I hope it's Sunderland.

We're never going down, and I think results like today and Burnley dictate the positional difference in closer to reality than the point difference.

I hope for a cup run. We'll finish mid table, hopefully top 10 so there's some progress on the last 2 seasons finishes of 13th/12th.

He needs two wins - and he'll not get huge credit for either one.

We have to be beating the worst team in the league at home. No excuses. And we cannot be playing reserves or kids in the cup. 1-0 and 0-0 (win on pens) cannot be beyond him.

I suspect we only need another 10 points or so to stay up, so I would agree. We should still be winning both games, however.
