Yeah they were much better organised than us. Can’t help thinking how it might be if we had Branthwaite and JOB at CB instead of dads army mind!

Come off it and admit the window was crap and the money was wasted. There are plenty of things to give Moyes grief about today, let's stop pretending the signings we gave him this window were any good.

Again, I was in the very clear minority in not rating our recruitment in the summer. The posts are there. May, right until the window closed.

So for clarity - I'm not saying we recruited well.

We lack balance, pace, and a striker. I'd banged on loads that I'd have kept Calvert-Lewin, and signed pace out wide and full backs as a priority.

But nevertheless, the debate was in relation to comparisons to Everton's previous squads - which were awful.

• Last summer we spent more than the previous 7 years combined. Thats without Grealish factored in, or a £17m obligation for Rohl.

There isn't a single player you'd both tell me who left in the summer we should have kept, and and considering this season we've been able to play Grealish instead of the likes of Harrison or Gray, or Dewsbury-Hall instead of Doucoure - then yes, of course as a squad we've improved. We're not gone backwards, unless you want to tell me the players we lost who we're missing.

He needs to fix the right side. There’s hundred of other issues but that’s the one that needs to be dealt with most immediately.

O’Brien has started at CB twice: two wins.
O’Brien was dropped entirely and Garner played RB: a win.
O’Brien was shifted from RB to CB chasing the game against Palace: another win.

It’s not a ton of games but the team functions better when he’s not out there. We do not carry a balance threat and it constantly puts us in bad spots. He’s also poor defensively in a lot of situations as a RB. It’s so fixable! Just trust Patterson or Armstrong.

It blows my mind. Not sure I trust Patto but the balance is so much better when O'Brien is central and not on the right. Hell, when Garner took Myko's place on the left we looked drastically better. Fix the fullback positions ffs.

I genuinely don't think Moyes is a poor tactician. I just think he can be a braindead manager when it comes to personnel. His selections will get him fired. There is not a shot in hell O'Brien should be at RB and Keane and Tarks in the middle. We have enough evidence by now to draw that conclusion.

Only Wolves, Burnley and Forest have scored less than us, we just don't have an attack minded team for the majority of games with Moyes favourites

This would be a ridiculously dangerous decision. Just ask West Ham.

We need way more quality before we move on from Moyes. We’ll pick up as many points in the second half of the season as the first and finish mid table. The things holding us back from doing any better is the squad.
