David Moyes/Everton Big Game Mentality

Osman, pienaar and heitinga. Either shouldn't have started or shouldn't have stayed on.

To be replaced by Duffy, Barkley and Naismith? The options just aren't there to change things around, this is why it's so difficult for us to compete.

If someone has a go at us we sht our pants Sunderland see us as a bogey side and usually play as such - yesterday they didn't hence the predictable result.

The "big game" chokes and leathering from the RS even when they're shte come from the same failing.

Fortunately enough clubs are in a worse state allowing us to get away with it over a season, it's fatal for winning anything but the Moyes 10th to 7th spot is secure so enough think it's fkin ace.

Imagine someone with a bit of inspiration coming in here and sorting it out the mind boggles at what we might achieve.

Not really. We'd be round about where we are. I can't see a bit of inspiration competing with oil and gas billions. Might play some better football and won a cup but doubt we'd be Barcelona.

You say it as though it matters not a jot..... staggering.

I think Everton definitely do lack a winning mentality, but the biggest problem is really the lack firepower. The attacking options have been a joke for decades.

The quote to which you replied made mention of the "mind boggling at what we might achieve" with a bit of inspiration which a fresh man at the helm might achieve.

"Might...won a cup" is exactly the achievement we should be in the business of striving for. I know we won't be Barcelona, and I know we won't be able to compete at the very top table, but to hoist a shiny tin pot aloft and be able to swing from a lamp-post on Priory Road as the open-top bus chugs past is good enough for me.

Sadly, it'll NEVER happen under glum plums.
