Dale Jennings

Hi all,,,my first post on here but hopefully worth while so bear with me,, Dale Jennings played in the Tranmere youth team alongside a lad i know very well called jay gibbs,,,now mid season jay spat his dummy out as he wanted to break through to the first team and the people who count at tranmere,,, who rated him very very highly wanted to hold him back for another 12 to 18 months so jay walked out of the club ( stupid lad ) and played half of the season for my local team. After speaking to jay , he assures me that dale is a superstar in the making if he finds the right club and by the sounds of it he likes us,,,,could do a lot worse if we had him here,,,,,,also jay ( yeah ok, questionable attitude ) is without a club,,,,this is a 17 year old who was by all accounts the main man in the tranmere youth side,,,,rumour is he is getting a trial at dagenham ( connections with their keeper Tony Roberts ) but players like these need a break . I reckon jennings would shine at goodison .

We're not sure if this guy's going to be a superstar but if he's good enough for Bayern to show an interest in him, then surely he should of been given more attention by Everton, especially as we are limited on wingers in the squad. The question's got to be asked..How did he slip through the cracks?

Dissaponting for 1.75 mill you could see the logic of us going for him. If that McClean lad came in with Gueye and Jennings we could have been sorted in wide opsitions for beards.

We're getting our knickers in a twist over a lad moving to Bayern Munich?

That's like somebody flipping on Joe Royle for not spotting Zidane before Juventus did.

To be fair though, English clubs have a rubbish record of buying young English talent and maturing them into top senior players. We have plenty of young strikers, it would seem a better use of time to actually make something of those players like Silva who appear to have some potential.

Yeah i agree with you i think the diamond to come through could be velios.

Missing a potential star at tranny is poor scouting.
Thing is, we didn't miss him, Liverpool let him go and we and Derby didn't pick him up after giving him a look. Sometimes people develop at different rates. And who knows whether he is going to do anything anyway. It's the same as Benfica fans ranting about us picking up Silva.

We might not have actually wanted him, you know...

At last. A voice of reason. It's as though whatever names are randomly generated by the press and recycled as 'alleged transfer targets' on here are genuinely 100% exactly the players Moyes has on his list.

I wish people would stop getting themselves worked up because someone who has been linked to us in the press, by people solely interested in shifting papers or raising hits to their site, sign elsewhere.

Felliani, Bily, Gueye, Velios...all out of the blue. No press speculation, no 10-page threads on here.

Kenwright out because we've not signed someone we weren't interested in? Have a look at yourselves lads....it's embarrassing at times. Really.

Good on the lad for trying his luck abroad. More of our youngsters should be looking to do the same. It'd improve the national team no end.

SPOT ON BRUCE. Said this for years, look at the succes of the players like Fabregas & Torres for the national sides, and other teams too. Henry for France and Zidane at his peak was incredible when playing outside of his comfortable home.

What i'm saying is, what if we were interested?...in talks blah blah blah, but we lost out rightfully to a club about 374 times more exclusive and exciting than us.

It's not like we were outbid by Chunham Dragons or something.
