No not read it but I do think Russia has taken an opportunistic swipe at us because of our changing relationship with the EU. Suppose we could ramp it up to such an extent with Russia that we back ourselves into a corner because of clear and present danger, then pause Brexit or May uses it for political purposes with her Brexiteers and her proposal, that has me thinking, wonder if the European arrest warrant issued for these agents will be valid if Brexit happens. Reckon not...

I had no idea that the EU or Brexit tied to law enforcement and warrants. You would think (hope) that Brexit or not, it would be in the best interest of all involved to maintain those working relationships for the sake of public safety.

Ultimately this is about trade, thus law enforcement will be negotiable, all part of geopolitical arena which really only came to public attentions after the referendum.

I’d imagine it’d have to be renegotiated, as it stands I would suspect that they wouldn’t be valid as we’re no longer part of the union . I’m guessing but in its current form it’s specific to the EU so just wouldn’t be applicable.

You could ask the same about those 2 girls in Singapore who were duped by the NK's to rub a tissue full of VX in Kim Jong Uns brothers face( right in the middle of an international airport departure lounge). Its all about the delivery mechanism - if it was contained in a high explosive package like a bomb or artillery shell, then it would get dispersed more - but on a tissue or squirted out the end of a perfume bottle, the impact area is small and controllable it would seem.

I have little doubt that those that did this were agents of the Russian state, but I'm also concerned that our government are unwilling to co-operate with well established international bodies in confirming the agents used.

As for the physiochemical markup of the Novichok substance/s used, I find it difficult to believe that it wouldn't have degraded during the first and second incidents.

True but there hasn't been any information released on where exactly they where when poisoned,if they were approached by anybody?did they give descriptions of anyone?.Then we had the people from Porton Down fully suited,and when the UK couple were poisoned police officers just wearing rubber gloves doing a fingertip search of parkland.I'm not suggesting it wasn't a Putin inspired event,just that it all seems very sketchy.
