How much longer are England going to persevere with the hapless James Vince? He's clearly not up to it at international level.

He plays the same innings over and over again. As in playing some quality shots before getting out between 15 and 30.

I'd bring back Alex Hales. Ok he's been a bit of a knob in the past but surely he's now served his time.

Should-touch wood just get draw here. A very young Lancashire team and a great learning experience, but missing 3-4 key players. Hartley looked to have bowled well first innings.

....I’m listening to the commentary and Lamb batted well in the first innings and is now holding up really well under big pressure from Leicestershire (hope I’m not putting the kiss of death on him).

Rather complacent from the openers. Not playing the ball on its merits and trying to slog the new ball.

Roy has failed all three times and Bairstow has failed two from three, neither is crap both are quality. Bairstow officially the best ODI opener in the world and Roy is right up there too. If the spinners bowl crap it hardly matters, these matches have been a chance for Tom Curran, Reece Topley and David Willey to make an impression it to prove a point to the selectors.

I think this is a series all about finding who of the fringe players are worth it and who aren't. Who cares about those we already know about? Who even cares about the results? - The world cup is 2022 not next week.

It's been valuable because I think now Vince can say that's it he'll never play again. (Banton too has yet to do it despite numerous chances but unlike Vince he's time on his side.

In the second one we had Topley very impressive with the ball but Willey with the ball and Billings with the bat have been the real plus points

Perhaps so. I like Lamb, looks a talented county allrounder. It could be a really interesting finish this if they end up needing 130ish off 25 on a spinning 4th day pitch.

I'm not worried about either. They are both world class in this format. They are also sort of 1 in 3 players, where if it comes off 1 innings in 3 they will win you the game. They will get out every so often.

Ridiculous, same as denly in tests, does baffle me.

We've had a big partnership and the rest was rubbish.
