Even if they had an option where a draw would do they would by definition cut out scoring shots and probably struggle to even get two an over.
I would think 180 overs (which on this wicket will be next to impossible) makes anything over 400 effectively out of reach precisely because of the necessary approach

England haven't batted well but they're gonna win easily. Hopefully inside 4 days now too. Wins all that matters.
If you need 550 on the board then you cant have much of an attack.
