Some of the worst opening batting I've seen. Rocked back on the back foot practically on their stumps, to balls half volley in length. Technically abysmal batting and you can't be getting clean bowled by what was essentially a straight ball with a hint of movement. A hint probably over exaggerating it too.

If Root wants to bat 4 then he should bat 4 because he is by far the best player in the team.

My concern is with trying to shore up a batting line up who were embarassed last week with a guy who has made an international career out of getting embarassed. Lengthening the tail and bringing Vince in at 3 is asking to be bowled out for 46 nevermind 56.
