'I see myself as a different sort of Welsh. Because we (my family) are from Cardiff, we see Wales as Cardiff. This is Cardiff; outside is Wales. It’s a strange one. You are really Welsh, but you’re not, if you know what I mean.'

Interesting quote from Bellamy, as someone who doesn't know alot about Wales, what is he getting at there?

It's how I feel about Liverpool and England I guess. I'm from Liverpool, I like that, but I don't see it as England really. I don't like England.

Koumas and Bellemy all in the space of two weeks, its like the ghosts of Everton transfer rumours past down at Cardiff.

*Puts sneaky tenner on Alan Smith to sign.

Sad to see someone who at City last year got the most assists for the club, have to go to Cardiff to get football, that bollocks about being near his family made my sick - it's not like he was playing on Mars, christ almighty.
Just shows what a billionaire owner does to a club, ruins it. Utterly.

For me this goes to show what an absolute circus city is and how they will eventually just ruin careers, just think of the carnage they went through to get Bellamy there, unsettleing him at West Ham, black mailing Spurs, turning his head with wonga, he made a terrific contribution last year and then thrown on the scrap heap all because a manaer who wont be there till xmas doesnt fancy him, i hope it was worth it Craig!

* Waives at Joleen.

Yeah I agree with that, it seems to me that Bellamy is a bit dissalusioned at the moment, he was one of citys best players last year and now he is thrown on the scap heap, not even in the squad. It just shows that there is no strategy at city, the dont look at the squad and say "where do we need to strengthen" like a normal club. They just see who they can get and then try to put them all together

Yep, was always going to happen though.. An Ireland has gone to Villa now, he was one of their best as well imo didn't he win player of the year season before last?

this is too bad, im actually a fan of Bellamy... luv his style actually... and kind of like that he is a bit of a prick (love watching other players get their shorts in a bunch when he starts running his mouth). His move to Cardiff is a bit of a joke...

but hey, if he helps bring them up next year, he'll be back in the prem with a team that will worship him... win-win i suppose.

I was a fan of Bellamy and would of liked us to have signed him last season but not sure anymore, he'd be another player over 30 and has had his fair share of injuries. Maybe on loan him would be a good acquisition but I wouldnt want us paying a lot of money for him and he'll also most probaly be on decent wages.

Not the investment we want to make at the moment. Our front line is on the older side and we don't need another person to do the Saha role. We need a 20-goal a season striker, not a 20-games a season striker. We need that young, hungry, ready to go go-to-guy up front, the kind of player that Anichebe never became.

Shelling out ridiculous wages and a couple of millions we can't afford for Bellamy's transfer would be depressing.

I know transfer season for us so far is about as exciting as a funeral, but that doesn't mean we need to make bad deals.

Iam not quite sure people realise just how poor our chairman is ( BEGGARS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS) we don't have the luxury to pick and choose when it comes to quality, A younger version would cost prob 20 mill, so if we have a chance with Bellamy we should jump at it especially as we have a very good Und 18 s and good young prospects coming through the academy
