Makes no sense to call it that...

Coronavirus would have to be in the name as it's part of family of viruses.

There is something in eating habits, as in fresh is not best as in transmission of virus. And before you start on about chlorinating everything, it's the inside that matters as well, not just what's on the outside of the product...

It’s called coronavirus or COVID-19. Trump and his republican acolytes decided to change that deliberately to the China virus. Of course I am. I’m pointing a finger at China and it’s absolute mockery of health standards. If it only affected China then no issue from me. But it doesn’t, and this isn’t the first time they’ve done it. If we don’t point fingers now, then the next time might be too late for all of us. I’m sure you are ok in your high tower, thinking beautiful thoughts for everyone, but meanwhile here on planet Earth this disgrace of a Chinese government needs calling out on it.....

there was two parts to your post, I was responding to the first line “Yeah I agree, it is not on to try and lay the blame for this whole pandemic at the feet of a sole entity as simple as 'China'.”.....

I had no idea where Swine Flu originated and had almost no interest in it. It did not cause the U.K. to be locked down, nor Create economic collapse. If it had I might have been calling it from wherever it originated.....

Only, what you’re actually doing, is cheerleading the change of name Trump has chosen to designate to this virus solely for his own ends. A cynical act, that’ll change nothing in terms of Chinese food standards but create issues for Asians living in the west.

In any case, now is not the time for blame, any pressure applied to China post this needs to be political and not via some grubby piece of dog whistle racism.

Why must you bring Trump into every debate and comment. My name is neither Donald nor am I a huge fan of his nor am I American. I am making my own point that the finger should be pointed at the source of this issue and the Chinese state for allowing it to happen....
