It was, day off work due to storm.. i'm bored so making stupid comments on the internet... How about shopping around or are they all just a part of a massive cartel?
I think I've cycled through the lot of them that I'm down to the cheapest now so I shudder to think what the highest price is. The price of absolutely everything in this country has become an utter piss take the last few years.

Yeah was noticeable when I was over how much it cost for dinner every night. Seemed to be paying high class restaurant prices for tat like pizza express
Insurance isn't real, they just say it is to make you pay for it.
And you have to pay tax on the insurance.
I was out on Friday with a few colleagues. I left after a couple of hours and paid for what we'd had so far. Total of about 12 pints, and a few bits of food. Came to less than £30. That's Vietnam. Little wonder many want to leave UK etc
As a product its completely out of control. What was a product to provide some reassurance if things went wrong has now become a large proportion of monthly expenditure for some households across home, motor etc.
The decision to move insurance products into the profit centre has been problematic for end users.
