How much does the household earn? How much savings and property?

Nobody who earns 12k is sending kids to private school unless that is completely disposable income.

Sick of comfortably well off people whining about being taxed on luxuries the common person can't afford.

She's a liar. That isn't even close to the average yearly fees for private school.
 
Reading into it a bit, fees are £5600 per year which she was paying via her benefits. Looks like pure rage bait to make everyone angry,
Yes, scholarship etc and the justification used was because of another child's experience in a state school. Which just sounded the usual normal horsecrap of growing up.

The wider question is why should we need private schools? Wouldn't it be better to invest in high quality universal state education?

"Ah but, my child... insert self-justifaction for snobbery/believing child is special/entitlement here".
