Sorry, no general news area to put this breaking news. Sara Sharifs father and step mother guilty of her murder. "25 broken bones in 6 weeks and a brain injury". This little girl was subject to a lifetime of horrific violence. And then her little body simply couldn't take any more and she died. I'm all for rehabilitation and recovery because society cannot be as blood thirsty as some would like it to be in terms of reprisal. But the "man" in question, I am leaning towards whichever wing he ends up on beating him very severely past the point of life changing injuries.
A very cruel and very wicked couple of bullies, Surrey social services not covered in glory with this case either.

Absolutely tragic reading that story. So many failed opportunities to intervene missed.
It needs a serious review to look at why those opportunities were missed and a serious look at what measures can be taken to stop homeschooling where there are identified concerns.

I can see the logic when there are massive discrepancies between councils. Personally I'd like to see a much more heavily regulated letting/rental market as well with price controls and further financial costs on second home ownership - especially with the rise in holiday lets.
Inflation up again. Rates now definitely wont fall anytime soon.
