FTMNo mate, he was going out to exercise from his home as is permitted.
However some busy body took it upon themselves to phone the Polis and tell porkies about what he was doing.
I`m massively pro law and order, but there has to be a degree of common sense applied in all this.
He lives in a village, where the nearest shop is five miles away and they have a population of about 500.
Too many people with too much time on their hands.
not having a go but hopefully when this is all over people will re evaluate their livesNo you've taken it up wrong, I'm talking about the importance of people's lives against other people's lives, whatever we do is 100% going to cost lives, so do we need to prioritise the lives of the elderly from this virus or the lives of alot of younger people who will certainly suffer mentally from financial issues and the suicide rate will rise dramatically, are you saying that the future lives that will be lost are not as equally important as those we are trying to save now? Because that's how I read your comment.
However, it isn't abstract debate or science fiction to project how such powers could be abused.
In Ireland no rent increases for 3 months and a ban on evictions for 3 monthsGreat debate on LBC now on Landlords tennents still charging rent to clients when they have no income.......
Anybody that thinks the police are 'enjoying' these new powers needs to give their head a wobble
The majority of them are embarrassed that they've got to approach people and tell them what to do - They basically had some new laws foisted upon them without any prior warning from the government and have been ordered to carry them out.

If you cant pay your rent you don't pay
You Will Have to pay eventually and that's the problem
people are already struggling paying 2000 a month for a 2 bed apartmentWhy's that a problem? It's just logical; you can't live somewhere for free.
I don’t think the majority of the police are enjoying them the majority of them are doing their job Well in difficult and trying times. They have a job to do I understand that but they also have discretion, a brain and a heart and I’ve seen certain examples that I find disappointing. Feels reasonable to discuss them as others have done , doesn’t mean I or any other poster are blanket criticising the whole organisation. As I quoted above it’s suggested senior police officers nationwide have recognised changes need to be made to enforcement, if they can see it and raise it I think we’re entitled to as well .

If they cant pay for 3 months that's 6000
Spread it over the next 12 months and that another 500 a month they simply cant afford
