That article above goes with something else a family friend of mine who lives in Sardinia has been saying.
There will come a point soon in Italy where the lockdown measures will crumble and there will be riots.
It has been three weeks. People have no money and are running out of food.
Southern Italy - especially - is still heavily influenced by gangs (the Mafia basically).
These measures are ruining more lives than the virus.
Hopefully our government's support for many people financially over here means we won't have riots and looting.
But you can't just take people's freedom away and expect it to go smoothly.
I say it again, but the reaction to this worldwide has been absolutely mental. How were they not prepared in any other way than to shut everything down?

More and more building sites are closing including smaller sites in the North West which is good to see.
My site, on the other hand, which based in zone 1/2 in London is still powering on regardless. ‘Fortunately’ I’m off ill at the moment.
I’m pretty disgusted and will almost certainly leave once the dust has settled. Hopefully the government will force their hand this week but I’m not holding my breath.

I'm convinced. We may find out soon when tests become available.

But yeh we don't really need to go there - in the UK at least I know there's a plethora of reasons going much further back than January.
Overall though, the governments across the world have been utterly hopeless and their (in)action has cost lives - in the short-term and long-term - and risked the worst economic crash of generations.
As @MarcelsGoat said, if it is a 'war', most of the leaders should be put on trial for war crimes. They've been pathetic. And there's tons of questions to be asked about this.
Short Version; lets face it All governments lie and suppress the truth (and in some cases the people) and If China isn't in the top 6 most of us would be very surprised.
