Because walking around a national park is automatically easier to walk around than a village? I just think it’s ludicrous people have to drive anywhere to walk somewhere; completely defeats the object of walking.

I don’t know, it may be flat, it may have memories for them, it may be the last thing they wish to see. All I’m saying is try not to be too dismissive.....

Sorry but don’t care how small your village is people can walk around it 2m away from someone else lol
Some of these older people are worried mate. Unlike you they have a very high risk of catching this. 2 metres to you is practically holding hands as far as they are concerned because they are scared.

Yeh, I understand that, but I’m still not believing people can’t navigate a small village without bumping into each other. Unless it’s like 18 people per property.

I use this a lot with work and vehicle removal.
I also use it hoping to be able to grass on me neighbour one day.

I'm not sure knowing if a vehicle is taxed and insured really ties down where the owner lives mate !

Obviously plod get more details though, and some traffic cops will have direct access and wouldn't have to ring it through to check.

I presume you know when your neighbours insurance runs out, and you'll be poised for the moment they don't renew it !

yeah mate...thanks for writing my life off...how old are you?

Horse has already left the stables mate - people are going to die sadly its just hoping the majority have already had/have it mild and this thing starts to die off in the coming months.

If less than expected have had it then the longer it goes on and more people sadly will die from it.

Its why there is little point speculating until the Govt hurry up with these testing kits.

Telegraph....

”The scientist whose calculations about the potentially devastating impact of the coronavirus directly led to the countrywide lockdown has been criticised in the past for flawed research.

Professor Neil Ferguson, of the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College in London, produced a paper predicting that Britain was on course to lose 250,000 people during the coronavirus epidemic unless stringent measures were taken. His research is said to have convinced Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his advisors to introduce the lockdown.

However, it has now emerged that Ferguson has been criticised in the past for making predictions based on allegedly faulty assumptions....”.........

The fightback begins!

... and by fightback I mean blame everyone else but the PM.

5000 dead in Spain and 8000 in Italy so far, despite their lockdowns, suggests 250,000 without any major lockdown in the UK wouldn't be a million miles away.

We're different to both those countries in many ways, but not massively so.

Yeah lad OK I'll just sit here and await my demise shall I? "I'm young I won't get it " syndrome. Stick to football...Oh wait.

Everything is guess work.

Nobody knows anything. Whether it's general public or scientists. They have no idea how long the virus lasts for , no idea when it will spike or go away , no idea how many people will get it until this is all over.

I tend to dismiss stories doing guess work because any other time they wouldnt see the light of day. Imagine reading a scientific report without hard evidence to back it up?

Rather read reports that have evidence in them tbh. Probably loads of them out there if you look in the right places.

Think you have completely ignored my whole post to have a rant.

You do realise being old isnt a death sentence either - you still are more likely to survive a bout of this thing than die of it.

Being older certainly isn't a death sentence (although it is eventually ha ha) having serious lung problems is...I will not survive a bout of this virus mate. Be glad you are young and probably immune.
